Did this game prove Micah right?

And for good reason. He certainly upped his game, but apparently so did Minshew. Minshew also had to knock off a year of rust, ans still played well. The only real edge I'd give Hurts is, he's a better runner.

Yeah, Eagles didn't lose much playing the back-up.

Or maybe our defense is just complete garbage and can make anyone look like John Elway.

Minchew and Trevor Lawrence hung 40 on us in b2b weeks, before that we gave up 27 to the Texans.

Game proved Micah and any other idiot that doesn't think Hurts a MVP, a complete and utter moron.

He's better than he was billed but he's got a supporting cast around him, players and coaches, that make him look much better than he truly is.

How about you sit this one out.

At some point, your moronically wrong takes really ought to stay to yourself.

Minshew balled out, maybe it is system more than anything.

Game proved Micah right? Who gives a dibby dabby on tha?
This game proved Micah is average (for now) and this Egirls team, with Hurts, is out to avenge.
Micah, dear lad and shining star of lore, keep your mouth shut and concentrate on a career that ends in Canton.

The Eagles win if Hurts plays in my opinion. Minshew threw two interceptions. He failed to properly hand off the ball and secure it to the running back for a back breaking turnover and missed wide open receivers on several occasions. The throws he made were generally regulation for a fairy competent NFL QB. He had an excellent drive in the 4th quarter but people are being biased if they think Hurts wouldn't have posed a whole other threat with his legs.

The fact the Eagles offense put up 27 points speaks more about the Cowboys D than Minshew.

Gardner is a better passer than Hurts, but the best thing Hurts can do is run the ball which adds another wrinkle to their offense.

If Jalen Hurts is unable to play for the next 2 weeks and Minshew can put together some solid performances, which helps the Eagles clinch the division and the number 1 seed, then that might be enough to take Hurts out of the consideration for MVP at least.

It's like when Nick Foles won a SB. Absolutely a system QB. The coaches in Philly are doing an incredible job

The Hurts of last season yes but he has been throwing dimes this season. Even in the Washington game the receivers lost that game not him.

If you put Mahomes on the Eagles and Hurts on the Chiefs, which team is better off?

Everyone knows the answer, which is why Mahomes should be MVP.

I bet you're a ton of fun at parties.

If Rodgers was on the best team then he would have won MVP most seasons he was in the league. But It doesn't work like that. If you put Brady, Rodgers or Brees or about 10 other QBs on the Falcons Team the year Matt Ryan won MVP then they would have been far more impressive than him playing in place on their team. Team record is a huge factor - it's a collective award in many ways. If the Chiefs aren't seeded #1 and the Eagles are then that should be a big factor given the way the award is seemingly judged.

The season Rodgers ran the table and somehow got the Packers into the play offs was incredible. No other QB not even Brady could have done that yet from memory he somehow didn't win MVP - that can only have been down to team record.

I'm not an Eagle fan
Neither am I

I'm worried about the Cowboys
Then why are you in this thread about the Eagles O system?

We barely beat them with Minshew at home. I'm not confident we can do the same against Hurts on the road.
The Eagles ain't exactly chopped liver, gotta give the devil his due. And besides, they barely beat us at their home with out backup playing.

Eagles' OL has a "pop" that's hard to describe. The blocking scheme and technique jumps even into the eye test.
