Elliott/Pollard. Both over 800 yards rushing

1. He's a Dallas Cowboy.
2. He is a team first player that doesn't mind Pollard getting more touches.
3. He is tough and plays hurt and gives it his all on every snap.
4. He sacrifices his body in blitz pickup blocking.
5. He has a nose for the goal line.

I mean if the only reason to hate Zeke is his contract than I guess the only people on any team we can like are on the practice squad. I mean it's not our money anyway.

Some people resent the big salary if he’s not getting 120+ Ypg. He doesn’t have the consistent burst he once had, but his style tires out defenses, and he’s good when paired with Pollard. A typical Zeke game is 55 yards rushing, 35 receiving, a TD, and several good blocks.

Don Perkins and Amos Marsh 1962

Pollard making Zeke look like the chump he is is vindication for me. All the clowns that told me I had no idea what I was talking about over the past 4 years with Pollard and Zeke.

-Pollard is better than Zeke
-Zeke isnt a top 5 or even a top 10 back
-Pollard is one of the best offensive weapons in the NFL
-Pollard should be getting 50-60% of the touches on offense minimum.

Nailed it all. And the Zeke apologists were dead wrong.

Sorry buddy, Im not going anywhere. Taking my victory lap thank you!!!
At this point of their careers, Pollard is better than Zeke, bro...but Pollard has proven he isn't a full time RB. His body structure is too small and can't handle 25+ carries per game, hence why the combination of Zeke and Pollard is actually perfect.

Two guys over 800 yards? Dumbest thing I ever heard.

Now all of a sudden the Zeke apologists want to make it "the great duo"!!!

Who is the guy with 1360 yards from scrimmage and 12 TD's? The same guy that made the pro bowl!!

Tony Pollard!!!!
Y'all really try too hard to bring division to this team. I guess its all for the sake of looking "right". We need both to win.

Go take a nap. You've forgotten who even plays for the Cowboys at this point. Zeke is a Cowboy do you not know that?

I don't even know why anyone would want to give Pollard 25+ carries. The less the better. Not saying less than 10 carries but the guy needs more touches in the passing game. Zeke pounds it and Pollard is the change of pace. Both are needed.

I don’t think Dorsett and Walker did it. Their best year together Dorsett was in the 700’s if I remember correctly. Too lazy to look it up.

The first 2 times it happened were in the 60s. Don Perkins and Amos Marsh did it in 1962, and Calvin Hill and Walt Garrison did it in 1969.

Don Perkins and Amos Marsh (1962)
Calvin Hill and Walt Garrison (1969)

I had an inkling that Calvin Hill had to be in one of those "Cowboys RB 800-yard duos".
Slapping my face in not looking up his rookie year... when he garnered the NFL Trifecta of__
Pro Bowl selection
All-Pro First Team
Offensive Rookie of the Year...would have seen that his backfield teammate Walt Garrison accomplished the 800-yard total for that season.

You are the pidgin strutting on a chess board knocking the pieces down thinking he's winning something. You have no self awareness at all.
My hero doesn't play football.

Duane Thomas and Calvin Hill were a good duo.

The leader
The leader in rushing yards (Josh Jacobs) has 1539...Zeke makes 12M more per year than Jacobs...

Is Zeke overpaid? Of course. Most players ARE overpaid. Zeke got his contract how many years ago, after he was drafted 4th overall and lead the league once or twice? Since they’ll likely restructure or cut bait in a few months, isn’t it kind of futile to continue to hyperventilate over this?
