The "likes" count now states reactions.

1. Risen will be bummed
2. Does this mean that the like button will become a reaction button with other possibilities other than like?

yes if not it should just say liked instead of reacted to.
I would suggest a dislike button , but that would probably cause issues lol.

It is distracting where it is now on far left. It is rarely used.
Or if you can just dont outline it, maybe smaller font with no outline.

The option bar like (Bold, Font size or color, smileys, etc) is not working, it's grayed out.

That has nothing to do with the upgrade. That change was made a couple of years ago. As I have said MANY times, just go to the Cowboys Fan Zone website and look at the top right. That newsfeed is WAY better than anything we ever had on this site.

The thread title always took you to the first unread post. I manually made a mod on the old site where clicking the thread start date/time would take you to the first post.

That is likely going away. It was something I added to the old site back when we had other features as well for customizing the site. Forum sites are more complex in what shows on the page now so everything had been removed from the old site except the background option.

I do plan to add a dark theme as the new alternative background option. I may at some point offer a tweaked Light theme similar to the old site background options, but if I do it will be later and will use the theme selection system instead of the custom option I created.

Yeah, in that case you are right. If there are no new posts, it would take you to the first page.

So it isnt that they like it, it just doesnt bother them.
Do a poll for how many love the rowdy avatar , or dont love it. then we find out. Or should it be changed.

just imo it should just be a dallas star like on their normal helmet . We have been looking at the rowdys a long time.

Why did you upgrade now?
We were having issues with a couple of things and the older software and servers were limiting our ability to add new features that we have planned.

Are you done with the new site design?
No, not even close. I keep finding things that need to be updated or improved.

Will there be a dark theme?
Yes, once everything else gets settled, I will work on creating a dark theme for the site.

Will there be a chatroom like the old site had?
Yes, we will be adding a new chatroom system, but it will be a few days before we work on that.

Will member stats be added back below the avatar/username/title area of thread posts?
Yes, hopefully. It will have to be manually implemented so it will depend on what is available and possible.

You have done a great job Reality, the upgrades are really nice.

I would like to see a few different default Avatars to choose from...nothing special just maybe 3-4 basic Avatars to pick from...however, the Rowdy Avatar dont bother me tho.....

As I have said when other people brought this up, I am still looking into it to see the best way to handle it. Once I do, I will make the appropriate changes.
