I've got a feeling with all the people Mike has hired on his staff, we will do a search, but could end up with one of his guys. What are your thoughts on this??

As for Quinn maybe Al Harris or George Edwards??? I'm not sure though, please give your thoughts

Just guessing I would say top internal candidates would be

DC - Joe Whitt Jr
OC - Brian Schottenheimer.....although I suspect he will be high on Denvers wish list. I could also see moving someone like Joe Philbin to OC and just having MM be OC with the HC title.

LOL, Jerry does like to take advantage of people when they have little to no leverage. Hackett was a disaster as a HC, but he is son of Paul, pal of Jerry.

It will depend on the availability of other coaches. When filling an opening, it is wise to look BOTH inside and outside the organization, and not make a commitment to a certain path too soon in the process.

I really like George Edward's, and schottenheimer I'd like. I'd like Payton alot more but I don't see Dallas giving up a 1st for him. So I don't see him in Dallas

After that disasterous Mike Nolan DC hiring, which i tend to believe management saw as a huge setback and a blotted distrust and doubts about McCarthy, .

Mike Mac would not only have to really find a way to totally convince management on a significant hiring at those key positions, such as a new OC.
But the Cowboys very own trusted insiders within the organization would also have to already had that same list of candidate names handy and agreed to.

I'm more on the new blood bandwagon but i'd be ok with fangio and kingsbury. Kingsbury especially because he needs to rehab his image, and what better place to do it than here?
