If we were to lose Kellen/Quinn, will we hire within?

It will depend on the availability of other coaches. When filling an opening, it is wise to look BOTH inside and outside the organization, and not make a commitment to a certain path too soon in the process.
No no there's been coaches in the playoffs that accepted jobs during, let him be hired, on Tuesday it can be made official

- McCarthy is retained as HC
- Consultant Brian Schottenheimer becomes the new OC
- Joe Witt Jr or George Edwards Jr. is promoted to new DC

There, ..Fixed it !
You better save these thoughts until after the Tampa Bay game BECAUSE a loss in that game could change everything

I've got a feeling with all the people Mike has hired on his staff, we will do a search, but could end up with one of his guys. What are your thoughts on this??

As for Quinn maybe Al Harris or George Edwards??? I'm not sure though, please give your thoughts
Hopefully Big Mike has someone in mind to run his offense. Assuming he is still here.

No.

Coordinators in Dallas should be the brash, big cojones types that are not bothered by fan/media criticism.

Look first at fired Head Coaches. They're usually good coordinators that just didn't cut it as head coaches.

He'll no. He plays 100% zone it seems.

Agreed.

Lovie's Tampa 2 defense is not conducive to Micah's skill.

He doesn't believe in blitzing, he wants those LBs to be more coverage guys

And he plays a 4-3 scheme,..Micah would be a full time DE, a 245 lbs RDE .and Parson is already being
beat to death and worn down every play vs 330 lb OTs, in this supposed hybrid scheme of Quinn's.

Jerry would take over as HC, Stephen as DC, and Charlotte would be OC.

Let's see, IF Dallas decides to pull a TCU and Tampa plays the Georgia role.

I like Dan Quinn and hope he stays as the DC, but if he leaves, I'd be calling Fangio. I wasn't impressed with Quinn as a HC, but he is a very good DC, IMO.
I like Kellen Moore as a QB coach, but think he has a long way to go to be a OC, and he isn't close to being a HC, IMO. Give me Kliff Kingsbury. He was a poor head coach, but his skills as a OC were very good.

And their is no way that MM stays if that is the case.
Even if it costs a #1 pick. Go get Sean Payton. Although I don't think he is really worth it. I just don't see a better HC candidate out there that could work with Jerry than Payton .
If this were the case Payton definitely deserves say in the DC and OC and since I don't know personalities or who knows/friends with who -- I hope my choices for OC and DC would be who Payton would choose.

Offer raises to George Edwards and Al Harris to keep them in their current roles. They are very good at them.

None of the rest of the coaches have stood out to me from the outside, and they could go or stay.

Jerry needs to figure out that football is not a family sport but is an upgrade game, and keep trying to upgrade all positions each year.

I think you may have it wrong. Just my opinion of course but The Jones Master Plan of redemption as a "football guy" has yet to come full circle. Give it time. Garrett Part II, aka Kellen Moore is patiently waiting in the wings. Jerry's hand picked next Sean McVay. I mean why hire McVay if youve already got him in house, right? Who needs Payton when youve got a younger version already on campus?Moore has almost completed his OC in Training contract he had to fulfill first.
The Kellen Moore era looms on the horizon.
