Would Cowboys rather play Eagles or 49ers in second round?

Whomever the best is. If we beat the best, it will prepare us for whomever is in the Super Bowl. If we can't beat SF or Philly, we don't belong anyways.

One one hand....with Philly's injuries, every week they have to heal will make them stronger. Philly team 2 weeks from now may be far stronger than Philly team 1 week from now.

And Mr Irrelevant Purdy, the longer you can hold off playing against him, the better the chance he remembers who he is, and his hot streak ends. We know it's gonna happen sooner or later....it's just a matter of when

I would not worry about who Dallas will play in the second round. Lets beat the Bucs first.
Dallas is favored by 2.5 points.

I say 49s because Purdy, while having a great interim period, is still a rookie and as such is more prone to rattling or just having an off day, imo.

The Forty-niners are more preferable than the 49ers, by a longshot.
They are too physical for the Cowboys to play at their level.

The C-boys will probably have all they can handle with Tampa Bay.

Apologies for not making myself clear. I suspect the Cowboys - given their druthers - would prefer to face any team other than the Niners in this year's tournament. Right now, the Boys from the Bay appear to be the strongest team in the NFC - and the League, for that matter - and it's not really close.

SF, at this point in a long, injury-filled season (and given what we've seen lately), would likely push DAL around their wet, grass field similarly to how they handled Seattle this afternoon.

I'd think any fan or "strategist" would welcome an alternate route to Glendale, should one appear.

49ers are way too physical for the Cowboys, they would shut our run down and Dak would be throwing pics all over the field.

We dont want to play the 49ers under any conditions, period.

So root for the Vikes tommorow. If they win, we go to Philly and at least have a chance..........................we have NO CHANCE against the 49ers.

I really don't care who they would face. Because facing one of them means we won the wildcard game. Beat the Bucs first, and then we can look at the next team.

There isn’t a hotter team in the league than San Francisco, they’ve won 10 in a row. Doubt you would find anyone on this board who seriously thinks the Cowboys could beat them in the playoffs. They would shut down our offense and our defense would have no answers for McCaffrety or anything else they do. They have a much better team than they had last year entering the playoffs.

49ers are due to lose,
