Conspiracy theory as to why we can’t get over the hump

A lot of it makes sense from my own viewing experience.

Of course, it still could just playing to confirmation bias, but I have enough doubts on my own about the NFL as it is.

Jerry's ego gets in his way. We all know this.
He does love this team and he does want another SB but while he is in charge and owns the team.
He would easily give up a huge chunk of change for another Superbowl win,

Now about the other teams trying to bring down the cowboys. Maybe they do, maybe they are jealous of the Cowboys franchise always being the highest ranking in Forbes pretty much every year even during down years.

However the NFL would LOVE for Dallas to make it to a Super Bowl, whether the Cowboys won it or not,
Each playoff game would be a ratings bonanza with a bunch of cowboys fans watching, the opposing team following their team and a HUGE number of fans of other teams that hate cowboys and want to see them lose.

It is no shock to read articles about how much a Dallas game gets in the ratings whether that be a night game, the game of the week or a playoff game. Now imagine those ratings increasing for a Superbowl.

If the NFL really wanted Dallas in the Super Bowl the refs would be far more friendly to us like they were for Brady for most of his career.

So did Dak throw those two INTs on purpose? I don't think he did. If he doesn't throw any we probably win. There goes that theory.

..only conspiracy, is that we FELL short again. Not money, Rowdy, NFL charity, Refs, Jerry...etc.

Dak relapsed again. The possible fix: OC? Recievers? Uni's? ;)...

In todays NFL you have to spend money.

Building through the draft only gets you enough wins to get to the playoffs.

The Cowboys have went cheap and gone the short cut method in free agency.

No bueno.

It’s not entirely wrong, but not for the reasons insinuated.

The GM shouldn’t be influenced by revenue, which is why the GM shouldn’t also be the owner.

Revenue influenced decisions and micromanaging has created a losing culture.

Jerry, money, refs, penalties, NFL, Goodell or any other reason you can name didn't make Dak throw 2 picks and miss wide open TDs to Hilton and Lamb

Dak is a nice guy, with some legit athletic attributes. Says all the right things. Inspires fans to wish such a good dude well. He's just not the sharpest tool in the shed. And it hurts to say that.

Dak wasn't mentioned at all, so nice leap there.

Which kind of goes along with what the other poster was saying,
he seems to be saying that we probably win, in spite of the conspiracy, if Dak did not throw those INTs.

1) Starts and ends with Jerry and Stephen

2) Acknowledge your QB is above average and not elite

3) Games are won in the trenches

4) Championship rosters are built through FA and you must spend money and not dumpster dive

5) You're offense cordinator is still calling plays from the left over JG play book.

The cowboys don’t win because Jerry doesn’t hire good enough coaches

K Moore and J Garrett have been running this team (offensively) for the better part of the last 10-12 years. Those guys have no business coaching in the nfl. Look at Garrett now. Moore isn’t far behind him. Jerry doesn’t think coaching matters. He’s an idiot. What’s new ?

Jerry has not respect or understanding of the actual value of coaching. He even forced Parcells to keep Mike Zimmer. He made McCarthy keep Kellen Moore. Just like he told Jimmy, “I can get any of a thousand coaches to come win a Super Bowl”. He thought he proved it when Barry won it with Jimmy’s team. The next 27 years proved him dead wrong.

Honestly, with posts like this, this fan base deserves all the humiliation Jerry is dishing out. It's sad.
