Of course hold him accountable- He should Hold himself accountable as well.

My only points here is:
He doesn’t have enough weapons to beat a SF in SF .
We are stuck with him - may as well get him a burner or 3.
Thanks for your service.
He had the weapons last year and lost to SF in Dallas.......so there's that.

The owner/GM straight up said that O line wasn't a priority because "we have Romo". He was on record.
If you want to argue that Phil Costa and Nate Livings = Tyler Biadasz and Zach Martin, be my guest. You're free to plant that flag but you and I both know it's baloney.

Same thing with WR.
"We don't have any weapons, etc". I remember the year Laurent Robinson led the team in TD catches. C'mon man.
Cee Dee Lamb is 100 X the receiver Laurent Robinson ever dreamed of being.

you call it an excuse. To those without an agenda, it's reality. Did Romo get it done? No, he didn't. In that, he and Dak are similar.
But acting like he was playing anywhere close to the same hand is delusional. For most of his career, simply not true.
Tony Romo....our beloved QB.....got it. Here's the baloney......No mention of Dez, T.O. young JWitt (the BFF), Frederick, Martin, young & healthy Tyron Smith on the OL, Flozell Adams, Leonard Davis, bull named Marion Barber, Andre Gurode....just to name a few......now that's some cherry picking.

I'm ok with Tony Romo, I really liked him and pulled for him to overcome the demons.....but I ain't about to mask what the results were.....since there's no reason to afford Dak the same masking.

So none of those so-great guys are responsible for our failure? Only the indrafted romo.
Got it.

Gallup was open a few times for potential big plays. He can't throw it to himself.
From what I saw the pressures were extremely limited on most of our pass plays. Yes you aren't going to erase Bosa etc but he didn't spend all day in our backfield. Blocking was at least as good for Dak as SF blocking was for Purdy, if not better.

the coverages confused the QB. Not the OC.
It's not must me saying it. Guys in the locker room are pretty much saying/insinuating the same thing.
they know. If you don't want to take my word for it, take theirs, I guess.
Ok....if that's good for you. All good. We got opinions like rear-ends.....we all got 'em.

Slow down SteveTheCowboy......that' never been said by me or my posts. Slow down. When it comes to Romo and Dak.....comparison and penchants for mistakes, and what happened after the mistakes, results from mistakes...suceese or failure from habits causing the mistakes.....support or abandon the ship as a result of the mistakes....is all I have been discussing. Dare me post anything about JWitt.

SO you are saying it was Romo's fault? How?

I suppose you could say something like "well interception that ended the game, DUH!"

I propose it was Romo more often than not that had us with a chance . If not for him we likely would never have had that last chance.

Everybody remembers that last play or the one real F up. No details that lead up to it. Some even blame him for stupid Crayton play. Ridiculous.

I also propose that we all have some faulty perspectives about it, after all these years.
...do you blame our leaders for going to Cabo the week before, being the #1 seed? (This is a test question)

Now tell us how the drafts went between 2007 and the 2012 by the time Romo was already 32 years old. The Jerry decisions were so comically ridiculous. He even said he doesn’t have to draft O line because his QB is so elusive. Luckily he had a good spin move.

Give me 5 solid moves in that 6 year span. It was the meat of the QBs career and nothing short of a joke managerial speaking. These teams are not even close no matter how many names you list.

if you read my earlier posts rationally instead of emotionally--
I said early in his career Romo had some better talent but wasn't quite ready to maximize it.
when he went into his prime, the cupboard was considerably more bare until about 2014. there was a period of 3-4 years there where the team was horrible. Laurent Robinson was our best receiver one year. What did Miles Austin do after he left Dallas? Another "#1" receiver..... etc.

I love how you guys bring up Dez when he is one of Dak's prime scapegoats. Within a year of Dak becoming the starter, Dez was bashed as a "horrible route runner" who "couldn't create separation" and shown the door. Yet somehow was a 1st team all pro previously. What gives?

Frederick, Martin, were added around 2014. AGain, as I clearly stated, toward the end of his CAreer but by that time his days were numbered. He had taken too much of a beating standing back there behind Costa and Livings waiting for guys like Laurent Robinson to break open..... LOL

We're going to go in circles. If you honestly want to say taht for the duration of his career Romo's teams were as good as Dak's, go ahead. Be my guest.

You'll be wrong either way. That simple.

Please stop group:
Rams
Dolphins
Green Bay
Arizona
Cleveland
Denver

Perhaps group:
Lions
Seattle
 Bucs

Absolutely group:
Jets
Washington
Raiders
Colts
Carolina

Just for fun because Dak will not be traded or anything like that, he's a Dallas Cowboy.
I doubt Washington or Oakland would be interested

Figures you got no answer ..fill in the holes during those 6 years then pretend this is the same thing! lol
.....that why the SMH.....figured an answer would come in the defense. I see Defense Attorney in the calling. Well done. Bravo!

Micah is the true leader of the team. He shoulda got up in Dak's face during the game. He...one of the few Cowboys, that holds people accountable.

I suppose you prefer sky-pointing, but-slaps and new Nikes.
Good lord, lol.

The Romo cult is strong here. lol Some have hated Dak just because he replaced a broken down Romo. In the end they both came up short.

No emotion involved on this end....Your argument, my argument. No need to go in circles. Tony Romo....1st ballot HOFer. One this about this forum.....have to be careful making post about Romo or JWitt.

BTW.....Dez wasn't bad for TRomo.....Dez became a scapegoat during Dak tenure (which I've never agreed with, thus the avatar.....only time his limited route running or drops surfaced.

Just stop .. it’s embarrassing that you don’t understand the simple fact that it takes years of smart decisions to build a winning team. Again just 5 moves? Then give me 5 from the Dak era.
