People on this board need to stop whining about Dak Prescott, he isn't as bad as many believe and not going anywhere in the near future. He is our QB and we need to support him, not kill him over everything wrong with the franchise:

-I can go back into the summer posts, where nobody had high expectations for this offense. Many thought with the loss of Cooper, Gallup not going to be ready, this team was going to be lucky to win 8 games. They won 12 games again, with lesser talent, Tyron missing most of the season and Dak out 5 games.

-Dak missed 5 games due to breaking his thumb, when he returned, the offense averaged over 30 points a game, #1 in 3rd down conversion and one of the league leaders in red zone efficiency. Outside of the Washington game, the team just lost 2 OT games on the road, in which the defense blew 2nd half double digits leads. Did Dak play perfect games and protect the football, no, but his offense wasn't the only reason why they lost.

-Lamb finally played like a true #1 receiver down the stretch, but Noah Brown was our next best receiver, yes, Noah Brown the special teamer. If I would of told anybody that Noah Brown was going to be the #2 receiver at the start of the year, everyone would of said they have no chance. Gallup was a complete disaster this season post injury, Tolbert was a bust and Washington was even worse. They were forced to sign a retired 33 year old receiver that was sitting on his couch. Their receiving core was the 2nd worse within the playoff teams.

-Where was the team's strong running game? Don't even need to go into Zeke's production as we all know his time is up, but the run game totally disappeared when Steele went down with an injury. This was a major issue heading into this year's postseason, believe they averaged less then 3 yards against the 49ers in their loss. Both backs could do nothing on the ground. There is a reason why the OL coach, RB was just fired.

-Dak just faced the 49ers defense, which was the best in the entire league. No running game, he was asked to read a defense in which they had 7-8 in coverage with 1 legitimate receiver. On top of this, a scheme that Steve Young stated prior to the game was the most basic, easiest to defend. Now you same fans are changing the goal posts and says Moore is Dak's scapegoat for his poor play.

-People need to accept the fact, the 49ers were the better team, period.

-If you want to blame anybody, it should be more towards the front office. They put together a less talented group and expected better results. They are now forced to upgrade the talent and the staff had no choice but to change their scheme. No doubt Dak has to play better and protect the football, but he needs some support to be successful. Josh Allen scores 10 points at home and gets a pass, but Dak scores 12 on the road against the best defense and it's all his fault.
:hammer:100%!!

add that same Allen had near 4 TOS in a playoffs game, Lawarence 4 in one half and 5 ints in 2 games but hes an elite talent, correct?, Burrows just had 2 in last night's LOSS by 3 points., Stafford 2 in a SB.

wheres the backlash?

I jsut sent back a burnt steak and you the chef came out crying telling me it could’ve easily been trash,

Ill take Kenny picket. The jags and Steelers had fun promising seasons. This cowboys team is about to give up on their guy. Lamb and Micah are only gonna be so patient
Sorry, you don't get to choose after seeing their rookie year play out.

Life doesn't work like that.

I bet you would've taken Zach Wilson too.

It's not Dak they hate, it's the insipid arguments brought forth on this board in face of the fact that he chokes in these games every year. But yeah, sure, surround him with an unstoppable running game and elite defense and they could win just like the Eagles or the Niners.

Joe Burrow...the same Joe Burrow that has a 5-1 playoff record, a Super Bowl appearance in 2021, and back-to-back AFC Championship game appearances in only 3 seasons as a starter.......compared to Dak's 2-4 playoff record and ZERO NFC Championship appearances in 7 seasons????

That Joe Burrow?????
You forgot the point about him making the SB last year with a trash O Line and nearly winning it. You also forgot the part where despite two picks yesterday and again nearly winning it with three O Linemen missing, the refs served up the game yesterday to KC on a silver platter.

Cooper Rush was 4-1 with his noodle arm and Moore playing a conservative game plan once they built a lead. Heck Rush even got the Cowboys to within 3 against the Eagles in the fourth after Moore made half-time adjustments, but the defense folded.

Moore didn’t need 7 years with the “franchise” QB to continually choke and have stretches of garbage play.

Everyone is tired of the excuses. It is his seventh season and the INTs he threw against the niners were year ONE mistakes. The second of which came in the redzone. I can acknowledge there are times he looks like a world beater, but that niner game was winnable if he played better. If you show someone that doesn't know the players that game film they would say Purdy was the veteran and Dak was the seventh round rookie on his sixth start. If there was ever a game for him to take what the defense was giving him and to not try to be a hero that was it. Go back and watch. He had Zeke open on the first INT. He had Schultz open on the second.

Dak’s been in the league since 2016 and has done nothing.

Those guys are elite elite elite talents. Dak isn’t.

If we were paying elite talent it would be different but we are paying mediocre talent and not winning squat.

If the guys you mention are struggling how on earth is Dak gonna be the guy to overcome when he’s not near the player those guys are?

2019 exposed Dak, meaning when this team became a “Dak offense”. Dak was 1-6 in one score games that whole year, meaning the idea he was magical in the fourth quarter was a crock of garbage. Linehan basically managed the game with him.

2020 he was garbage again in the last five minutes of the game, his numbers even worse than Andy Dalton.

The guy with Moore wins, when Moore is ahead of the defense and playing fast and gets out to big leads, so the defense can bring the heat and generate TOs. If Dak has to play slow he’s literally one of the worst QBs in the league.

These guys comparing a 7 year QB in a system that has been tailored to his skill-set, with the best OL and RG in football, to a guy like TL, who just had Urban Meyer as his coach and still beat the Chargers in his first play-off game, coming back from the third largest deficit in play-off history.

These dudes will make any excuse for Dak..

Yeah.. If you want to compare Dak then stick with the Kirk Cousins, Derek Carr’s and those types..

But these elite talents.. Please stop.

He also led the league in Ints that shouldn't have been ints.

How does that factor into your view?
That’s made up! That’s my view! Do you want me to go through tape and see if he led the league in Ints dropped by defenders like the 49er game? Stop making excuses

There's people in this thread bringing up Burrow losing yesterday to defend Dak, there's no reasoning with that type of person
