i didn't say he's never choked, everyone has come up short. but no one would call him a choker. and i don't know who "a times super bowl running back" is. Who is it, and where'd he say it?

Well it sure looks like Hurts has easily passed Dak today. Dak looks like complete fraud when compared to these playoff QBs.
Yes...you guys NAILED it on this post. Burrow, Purdy, and Hurts.

Hurts is the only one making it and Purdy sprained his Vulva and couldn't pass the whole game.

1 out of 3 and the guy who passed for 122 yards (29 of which shouldn't have been lol) makes it.

STRONG statements from the chosen few lol

My workout partner. Oh, so they can call Prescott a choker , that’s what I find so ridiculous. Yep, the media they need a lover boy it’s Patrick. I hope the Eagles destroy him and I hate the Eagles. How can anybody like Patrick you’ve been throwing his players under the bus ever since you came into the league.

Patrick Mahomes has 9 playoff wins in 5 years, including at least 1 every single year he’s been their starter. He’s on pace to be second alltime to brady.

You could have picked any other name and been more accurate
I know right!

And look at the dumb deals the Cardinals gave Kyler Murray and the Browns gave Deshaun Watson. Just remember rather than paying him you could trade your QB for a couple of picks and use one draft another. If you took a QB every other year you will always have developing. Like Parcels said - if they aren’t there by the third year move on.
The Browns is the all time dumbest trade. The gave up a ton on draft picks and a huge contract for a sexual predator. Their own fans boo him. That was insane. Kyler Murray its a different case. He lost Hopkins his top WR and they have no running game. Kyler will do fine with some talent around him.

As for Dak, we have hit the ceiling. He's not going to morph into a better QB in year 8. We need to move on from him at first opportunity. The best case would be trade him to the Colts for a draft picks. But we would probably have to eat some of his contract.

Football is a team sport. QB position is an important one, but without everyone else playing offense, the QB can't do it himself.

Anyway you cut it, Hurts is the last man standing out of those 3.

Watching the game yesterday, Hurts may not have won the game himself, BUT, and this is a big BUT, he didn't lose the game.

The difference between from what I've seen from Hurts vs Dak is Dak will contribute to losing a game playing his part.

It is REALLY...>REAAAAAAAALLLY hard to lose a game when the other team literally CAN'T throw.

I have never seen anything like it.

Whirlwin - why do you dislike Mahomes so much?
I don't like all his limping around as if he's defying medical science by somehow playing with...a mildly sprained ankle and the Chiefs get home town decisions like no other team.
However, I don't get the choker argument. 2019 the Chiefs o line got obliterated in the Superbowl and from memory receivers dropped two easy touchdowns. He had mission impossible. He's about to play in another Superbowl.

That's why you have a back up QB LOL

Opinions are like buttholes I realize, but here's mine...

SF was in the playoffs by their team play only, and not by their QB play. SF got into the playoffs by using their 3rd string QB. Give credit to SF, they brought in Christian M from the panthers early in the season, and he basically turned their team into a "great" team by using a average back up QB, and they (SF) went into the playoffs with that average back up QB.

Thing is, they (49'ers) were making a run into the Super Bowl not by playing their #1 or even #2 QB, but their 3rd string QB which was unheard of IMO. Ironically enough, the 49'ers 4th string QB averaged a higher average passing yardage than their 3rd string QB yesterday against the Eagles after the 3rd stringer went out.

I read that Purdy couldn't throw the ball more than 10 yards after his injury. Before Purdy went out with his injury yesterday, he was 4/4 for 23 yards which average well below 10 yards a pass (I don't remember, did he actually throw a pass longer than 10 yards?).

Cowboy's defense is on par for the most part compared to the Eagles defense IMO (slight edge to the Eagles IMO). Long story short, Dallas lost to SF not because of their defense, but because of their coaching and lack of offense (and yes, Dak contributed to that loss anyway you cut it with his interceptions).

Reality is no way the Cowboys should have lost to the 49'ers in that playoff round. Kellen Moore is gone, so perhaps we'll find out next year if everything was Kellen's fault. That said, Kellen doesn't throw the ball in the game itself.

In Purdy's defense, Hurts didn't have a great game, but he didn't make mistakes.

When you're only down by 7 with less than 2 minutes in the first half on your side of the field with your 4th string QB, I'm not a football coach but I would play it safe and plan for the second half. What do you know, the 4th stringer QB fumbles the ball and your opponent scores with less than 2 minutes before the half.

Watching the 49'ers lose yesterday reminds me somewhat of watching the Cowboys when they are in close games and lose.

The refs were beneficial to the Eagles IMO, but Philly still manhandled the 49'ers on defense, and that is what I expected from Dallas, and they (Dallas) did it IMO. The problem with the Cowboys isn't on defense IMO.

I am an individual that can think for himself. Not to mention other professional athletes that agree with me.
When you say Mahomes is a choke artist, it seems you can't think for yourself. At least not clearly. That's why I give you grief about it.

Please list the professionals who agree with you & links to their comments. Would like to see that.

It's not so much that those QBs are good it's more that Dak is trash once he gets into the playoffs. And Burrow is dam good. Has anyone seen whirlwind I hope he got to see why Mahomes is elite.

Burrow and Herbert are going to get extensions before the 2023 season. Anyone care to guess what they might be? I'm guessing Burrow over 50M.

How many SBs did the Patriots win during Brady‘s 2nd, 3rd and 4th contracts (not doing the research but it has to be around 3-4)? Mahomes isn’t on a rookie deal and may win it all this year. Josh Allen isn’t on a rookie deal and he is on a damn good team. There has been many QBs who have won SBs after their rookie deals.

You’re insinuating like it’s easy to find a SB caliber QB in the draft. It’s really not.
Patriots had a 10 year stretch of not winning a Super Bowl.

Next season will say a lot, but I do think it's clear he wasn't some near undrafted guy either. At the very least, he'll be a great backup in the league.
