He doesnt need to. He already signed a massive deal with ESPN
I think it is Fox but it is massive. I think it is something like 330 mil for 10 years. I have always liked Brady. Was not consider to be much of a qb coming out of college. Anyone who reads his scouting report would think he would become nothing. Even in college he was not highly thought. Kipper even said he should be an insurance salesperson. Just goes to show that you can’t measure someone’s heart. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

Jeez…you beat a guy one time and he acts like a 10 year old losing at Parchese and flips the board and quits.

Thanks for playing the villain to some, the hero to others, and the d*mn GOAT to us all! A well deserved retirement.

Good for him....don't like him, but he has my respect. Now, go get your family back.
I'm betting he unretired last year because she told him she was leaving, and it was easier to handle for him by coming back and being in a team environment. Women don't just leave on the spur of the moment.

I have a very close friend whose wife of 31 years (7 kids) just left him. She planned it from December of 2021, and surprised him with it in October of 2022. He found notebooks where she started recording her "issues" with him in a journal format from December, and he was blindsided later.

I don't think Giselle left Tom because he unretired. I think he unretired last year because Giselle was leaving him. So, getting his family back is probably a non-starter...sadly.

Incredible career. Won't see anybody on his level in our lifetime, if ever.

Once the Cowboys finally beat him, even he knew he was done. :muttley:

I guess losing a playoff game to Dallas was just too much for him to handle. He finally got the message. Or Dallas should be given an award by the other franchises. It's one or the other.

Probably should have did it before his marriage went to what it did. One more year was not worth it.
Pretty sure the 2 crybabies were already headed towards divorce before that. They are both spoiled brats.

That said, nobody will come close to doing what he's done in the NFL...

Dominant? Have you watched the decline the last 2-3 years? Those days are over.
Was there a decline aside from this season? Just a year ago the guy threw for 5300 yards and 43TDs winning 13 games. The year prior he won the super bowl. This year the numbers were down considerably, but he was on a significantly less talented offense. Oline was beat up all year, Godwin doesn't look the same post injury, no Gronk, Julio Jones is good in short stints not a full time player anymore, and they had the worst run game in football. Even with that mixed in between some absolute clunkers were some excellent performances as well. As these guys age it's not like they just lose it overnight, I think the bigger problem is consistency and can they do it over a full season week after week as the bumps, bruises, and general soreness don't clear up as quick.

If he came in mid-way through the season and signed with let's say a team like San Francisco I absolutely believe it would be impactful for that playoff race. It's always tough for a new QB to come in and learn the deeper pieces to how an offense works, gel with the receivers, get comfortable with the oline, etc but Brady is probably the most equipped to do so. You let him come in with a fresh arm and body around Thanksgiving, give him a couple of weeks to get right and yeah I can see him going on a mini run.
