Can say what you want about the owner but players have always spoke highly of Jerry. And to his credit he never brags about the stuff he does you usually hear it from the players.

He gets too involved at times on a personal level. Makes friends with some players, keeps guys cause he wants to be right about them panning out etc...

It's good from a non football perspective as I do think he cares, but as the GM, it clouds their judgement often, IMO.

Cant have a GM that is a fan of the players. That is essentially what jerry is.
