I'm kind of against using the first round to pick up a running back, but rolled with it and I think I may have came up with a way to justify it, if you can garner more picks by trading down later on. In this draft, I traded down in the 5th and picked up another 6th and 7th and got another 7th for next year.

How realistic is that? I'm not sure, but I would consider trading down in this draft, because it's a pretty deep draft at various positions.

Heavily offensive draft, but I suspect that will be the case with McCarthy running the offense next year.

I could have drafted Clatyon Tune in the 7th. But I actually like the potential Stills brings instead.

Call me crazy, but the guy has a motor like Ratliff had a motor.

Rashad Torrence II, is the Torrence nobody is talking about. But guy is a beast.

I would take this draft in a heartbeat

Robinson and Washington in the first two rounds? Talk about helping your running game…. Washington is just brutal in everything he does. He’s a bully blocking and DB’s would just about rather do anything than try to tackle him with a full head of steam.

Those two along with getting Solari would improve the run game a ton.

I don’t like Rice at all.

Pickens and Ekiyor aren’t bad.

I would love Pappoe at pick 175 and Mingo at 196. Both of them are kind of pet cats. Pappoe is one hell of an athlete and Mingo is extremely physical.

Overall, I kind of like what this draft would do for our team. I love the physicality that the first two picks would bring to the Dallas offense.

Replace Rice with a player that I like and I’d be happy with it.

Is Washinging closer to Marcedes Lewis or Gronk?

He is in danger of Bob Sanders-ing himself.

Not an issue at #176 but probably why he'll be drafted later than his talent level indicates.

I would better like a higher graded guard. But I love Robinson in the first. overall advisors draft

At this point I think it would be Lewis. I do think he could be dangerous in the passing game with just a little coaching. He catches fine.

He’s definitely a ball of clay that I’d like to get in round 2. Particularly for a team that is wanting to get a powerful run game going and wants to continue to morph into a very physical team. He is a great blocking TE right now.

I had to go back and look at Rice's game tape. He's taller and that's something we already have..but I'm trying to keep this a winning team if Lamb gets injured.

And we could be creative enough to do that. Because of the lack of true number one grades, it makes sense to draft Robinson when the board is wiped out.

I still think ge goes to the Iggys tho.

I figured he was a 3rd round talent so I took him in the 3rd.

luv it. The Mingo and rice picks are great value. Mingo reminds me of DK Metcalf.Rice wont wow ya with speed but runs great routs and catches everything in his radius. Mingo has a great catch radius as well. Mingo can take the top off.

Anyway, this exercise told me to stick with the best player on the board...unless it's Lewis Cine.

The.you draft a Tyler Smith. I'm actually glad they did their homework on Smith. He was a good kid.

I only hope they're doing it on everyone this year..this is a very important draft.

this draft is key. If a team needs weapons, THIS draft is it.

I see 3 starters and 4 early contributors.
This could also be a another strong free agent class; I suspect.. pick of QBs should be nice.

The more I think about it the more I can get on board with Robinson. I can see Zeke in a 3rd back roll with Robinson and Pollard doing the dirty work.

I would rather cut Zeke, but that's not what they'll do.

agree. I like Clayton Tune, the QB from Houston. I think he has skills that can be honed in the NFL. He's mobile and accurate. He will likely be an UDFA. Same with Duggan. Might even take a late rd flyer on either.

the Cincy wr is lightning quick and catches everything. I think his last name is tucker. I aint sure. But he is a DeVante smith guy.

I want to see Hendershot bulk up; gain a tenth on his 40 this off-season with the strength shoes..and compete for the starting position.

Ferguson too..but I think Hendershot has more potential than he realizes..just has to actualize it.

I like Washington's potential. And I hope I didn't reach there, which would come back to bite me just to draft a fan favorite prospect.

Hendershot was a good blocker as-is. Maybe add a few pounds as long as it does not impact his athleticism.

His primary issue was mistakes. Penalties and some other execution issues. Typical rookie problems. As long as he cleans those up, he should be a solid #2 TE.

Yeah, I don’t disagree with a WR there… I just don’t like that player very much. Another receiver there would be fine with me.

To be fair to all of these players though… It is early and they still could change my mind. Obviously a big part of the puzzle is the combine, so after Indy, I (and everyone else) will have a better feel for the draft board.

This is about my favorite time of the year. I love the whole draft process.

Right. My mind changes quite a bit, too. After I had time to study our FAs last year, I thought the best UDFAs were Hendershot, Davis, Shampklin, and the WR from Wake Forest, who went to the Rams PS. 3 of 4 out of 20 isn't too bad. lol

Still hoping Tolbert pans out, because I thought he was a solid 3rd round pick last year.
