Marcus Mariota as a backup to Dak

Mariota has been dumped by three teams. He is not the answer. Might as well bring in Wentz.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I am tired of watching Dak implode when the competition gets tough. We ain't going to win anything with Dak, why not win nothing with someone new?

Didn’t really follow Atlanta Football. But Marcus always intrigued me from his Oregon Days.. his stats weren’t that bad last year. given the lack of talent in Atlanta. 15 9 88.1 QBR. If Dak is
Injured he can come in and the Offense could keep rolling. I know the naysayers will say we can’t afford him cause we dumpster dive FA’s

I like it especially if he still has some juice left in his legs and not a statue.

Marriotta has been and will continue to be trash. Once he left that gimmick laden offense Chip Kelly left behind in Oregon he amounted to nothing in the NFL. Fringe starter and that can’t seem to keep a job. I can’t stand Chip Kelly. He ran that speed offense in Oregon then brought it to the NFL while the guy that replaced him kept running that same garbage at Oregon with Mariotta. I don’t like offenses that take away the QBs ability to think and have to read defenses. Once Marriotta got to the NFL and had to legit read a defense he became a backup after his rookie contract ran out. Not good for a No. 2 overall pick.

right, there are literally STILL fans on SM claiming we would have won that 9er game with Cooper rush.. the clueless ness of what rush actually did or didn't do as qb vs what type of Team we had during that stretch that carried him is unreal.

they somehow forget his 107 yard rams performance with 2 fumbles, the 3ints with the eagles and even with the luck he had to clear INT in the Washington game , we alos were bottom 10 in scoring and 3rd down %.. the 4-1 record is team record (oh they say dak would have gone 2-3 , seriously),

honestly, that's the best stretch our D, OL, STS, and Run game played all year., heck IMHO we could have used the wild cat and won those games. not dicountig Rush but man his "just not being Dak" and his fame as grown over time. as if Rush could have scored 40, 50, and 49 points when we needed it or got 17 and 14 up on the road against jags and GB.
