We have the great Cooper Rush just pay him, he has shown that with a little defensive help he can AND WILL lead the 27th offense in the league AND have it at 28th in effenciency ratings..I felt like we had a chance with him against Philly didnt you??? ABD crowd give this place brain damage.....darft a QB, sign A-Rod ect ect..but my god stop trying to hand the ball over to cooper rush..jesus.

Didn’t really follow Atlanta Football. But Marcus always intrigued me from his Oregon Days.. his stats weren’t that bad last year. given the lack of talent in Atlanta. 15 9 88.1 QBR. If Dak is
Injured he can come in and the Offense could keep rolling. I know the naysayers will say we can’t afford him cause we dumpster dive FA’s
He’d be a good backup.

Stats look good too.

Hes 29. Still has some football left.

Dak and Marcus are four months apart in age. I would prefer a draft choice with the potential to be in the Cowboys future. This way, you are killing two birds with one stone.

if Dak goes down, you see more than a backup trying to fill shoes temporarily. You would see the Cowboy's future QB gain experience and prove himself

If you are going to go out and spend big money on a back up QB, why not just keep Rush? IMO with what you are already paying Dak it makes more sense to go with a budget vet qb on a smaller deal and use a mid round pick on a qb to compete for the backup gig.
if they can re-signed Cooper Rush i think they will go that route, ..although he is limited in arm power and athleticism. and i'd have to wonder if McCarthy would
want to advance in those areas. I'd at least want competition vs Rush.

Dak Boyz still hurt about the team going 4-1 with Cooper.

Dak Boyz? again this has to do with Rush and what he is as a QB, I'm all for an upgrade at QB if you think that is Rush then you didnt pay attention to what the offense actually looked like with him running it...26 QB's in the league ran thier offenses better would you say they all had better offensive players or the QB play was not as good? I'll take an upgrade or a draft Draft you can ride Rush...does that make you a Rush boy?

We need to find a QB that’s throws LOTS of interceptions to back up Dak. It’s important to have consistency in an offense. Dak throws ints with the best of em.

Rush knew the old offense. Does he know the new one? Any backups out there that played for Green Bay when Fat Mike was there available?

QB Clayton Tune from Houston...5th or 6th round.

Has Mariota ever had a stretch in his career where he went 5-1? Resign Cooper and call it a day.
