If we select him could we rotate Parsons with him. One at Off the ball and one On the Ball, then vice versa? I believe he has a similar skillset although a much taller player.

Is he in play at #26?

Would this help Parsons?

What I worry about Sanders is his inexperience playing off the ball. Great that he can rush the passer, but he is going to be drafted as an off the ball linebacker

DQ will get him ready. Aint scared 1 bit 2 draft him.

Dudes a stud.

Super athletic, lengthy MLB that has experience rushing as an edge.

He gives you another Micah like chess piece on defense.

I feel if Quinn is going to use him more as an off ball LB, he'll be over drafted at 26. For an edge player he makes sense at 26.

Not sure how I feel about rotating both between off-edge/is he good enough to take Parsons off from rushing.

Was hoping for Campbell in day 2, but from what I see here that seems unrealistic.

Would he and Parsons switch helmets every time they swap back and forth so the MLB can call the plays?

No idea why this board is so obsessed with “chess pieces.” We have them in Micah and Kearse. The rest of the defense needs to be able to do their specific job well.

Now can Sanders be a great MLB? I’m not totally sure, maybe. But we don’t need guys switching positions mid game, just get a good MLB if LVE is not resigned.

They would not rotate but it would give Dan Quinn another pass rushing option.

Parsons played the majority of snaps at off-ball LB in 2021 and the vast majority of 2022 snaps at DE.

They occasionally used Barr as a pass rusher (He was projected to DE or 3-4 OLB when drafted).

Even LVE started rushing the passer some towards the end of the season.

When the Cowboys had a 3-4 defense with DWare and Spencer as the OLBs, DWare was basically a DE because he rarely dropped in coverage.
- Spencer dropped into coverage about 4x more often.

He played significant snaps off-ball in the game footage that I watched.

He didn't participate in any of the measurables testing at the combine.

Not saying Sanders is going to be a stud or dud but one productive season in college football is a helluva gamble to take a player in the first round.

Sanders was my 1b guy a few weeks ago. He’s slid down a few spots for me
