So today was the day Marriott was to have gotten the video tape to Irvin's legal team. so now they are going to hold a press conference with his agent, lawyer and possible witnesses available. Will be interesting to see what happens, but I cant imagine they would be holding a press conference if this video hurt them.

stay tuned.

On what network will Michael Irvin be having this 7 a.m. press conference?
Not sure..... you call a press conference, and then whoever shows up and airs it shows up and airs it. I would imagine most places would not air it live, im sure it will be on the internet live somewhere.

Here is the story:

Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin hasn’t had much to say publicly in the four weeks since he was removed from NFL Network and ESPN after an allegation of misconduct at a Phoenix hotel. On Wednesday, he’ll be saying something — possibly plenty.

His lawyer sent out a notice on Tuesday that a press conference will be held on Wednesday morning in Dallas. Also in attendance will be attorney Levi McCathern and agent Steve Mandell. Irvin, per the release, “has also asked eyewitnesses to the alleged incident to be available.”

I saw the time as 10:30am.

1. If they have something (meaning exonerating audio of some type), they'll present it.

2. If they don't have something, they'll present that he didn't assault her, maybe show video to that effect, have the witnesses there who already stated this, and frame it as him being railroaded when he didn't even touch her which will be enough for most public outcry (again, this is a PR rehab suit). However, this case is about what was allegedly said as Mike himself stated on that radio interview which is what supposedly set things in motion at the hotel. But they'd be hoping no one would remember that amidst the emotion.

This is interesting. My guess is they are announcing a settlement. No guarantee that Marriott turned over the video and other records. They could have filed an objection instead.

Or if Marriott didn't turn over the video, they are announcing that. He also asked the witnesses to be available. Don't know what to think of that.

Marriott has been fighting turning over anything so much that it looks like they have something to hide.

We shall see.

What did Irvin say he said to the female at the hotel?

What did Irvin say he said to the female at the hotel?
He said in his interview that he was approached by Marriott to move him from his room and they told him he said something to an employee that evening before going up to his room. Irvin said he told them he didn't talk to a woman but then Marriott told him there was a video of him talking to the woman (that they didn't show him) and then Irvin said he didn't remember what was said to this woman. Irvin mentioned an off-the-cuff "I don't remember because I had a few drinks to tell you the truth" which everyone latches on to and probably shouldn't have been said but I get not remembering every single person he talked to (see link below). Among the documents Marriott was supposed to have turned over included reports so somewhere in there would probably be what the woman claims Irvin said to her. They could also reveal that to create a "they went after him for THAT?" effect.

Michael Irvin will open his press conference with this to say…

I'm all the way up!
I'm all the way up.
All the way up!
All the way up.
I'm all the way up!
I'm all the way up.
Marriott can’t stop me! I'm all the way up!

Why are you so eager to destroy Irvin? I am honestly curious.
