Welcome back to the jungle.
The Joneses got fun and games.
They got everything you want, Cooper.
They know the same names.
They are the people that can’t always find whatever the team may need.
If you are a trooper, Cooper, they’ll keep spreading their disease.

In the jungle, welcome back to the same jungle…
Nice!

NFL players, coaches, scouts and execs believe Dak's a top 10 QB.

I know that kills you people inside, and that puts a smile on my face.

You have absolutely no argument. Cope, lil guy.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:
Do you think he played like a top ten QB this past season? Not trolling. I want to hear your thoughts on that.

If a new vote come out this summer from GMs and execs like last year and they have him outside the top ten based on 2022 season, will that signal to you as well that he’s out of it?

I'm expecting a QB addition to be forthcoming in the upcoming draft.

Hopefully, he'll work out well and provide some healthy competition.

It's about time for us to get a QB that provides promise as a starter.

Lol, BF.

Should Cooper Rush bring a 6 pack of Cowboys sponsored Miller Lite or a 6 pack of Troy Aikman's EIGHT?
As long as the rest of the players enjoy it, does it really matter? (As long as it helps to keep it fun!)

Speaking of Aikman's Eight . . . I haven't tried it yet but will as soon as I notice it on the shelf. Burp!

Yes, he absolutely played like a top 10 QB.

He got his team into the top 8 and, once again, had his offense ranked as one of the very best in the entire league. The excuses for the offense's success have run out - our weapons are NOT elite and neither is the OL.

Dak's the engine, period.

Yes, he had too many INTs, and that's why he's merely a top 10 QB and not an elite QB.

What happened to Dak in San Francisco is exactly what happens when you have a "good QB" going against the best D in the NFL, on the road. Once Pollard was out, we were at a huge talent disadvantage.

Nobody's overrating Dak, that's the funny part. I defend Dak as much as anyone here, but even I know he's not in the Mahomes/Allen tier. He's a very good QB who is paid as such. Will that be enough to win a SB with, or even get close? Depends on if you can put a great team around him.

I know he helped keep the wheels on when Dak went out with an injury, but I think the team won more in spite of him, than because of him. I would have preferred that the team try to upgrade this position and push Dak a little.

I can see keeping a guy that is “better than a sharp stick in the eye” just because you know what you have, but in that case the team needs to be very aggressive about adding. Young guy through the draft or free agency who has some upside to actually compete and eventually push Dak.

Dak may not be the Cowboys’ QB in three years, one way or the other. I would be looking really hard at the upcoming draft class and I wouldn’t rule out a QB in any round.

I’ve never wanted a Cowboy gone more than Crayton and Zeke - until now. Just like them and Campo and Gailey, I can’t wait for Rush to be an ex-Cowboy.

Weren't we told during the season that Cooper Rush was going to be a hot commodity during free agency? It's amazing that he's back with the Cowboys doing what he does best, backing up Dak, so now all of you fantasy football owners can go back to the drawing board and find out what went wrong.

When you're a perennial loser your main objective in free agency is to bring back the same team.

Dante Fowler is next.
Except they aren't. Gifford and Brown are gone and they were bottom 10 talentwise on the roster last year. You get better by improving your weakest links, not by getting rid of strongest talent.

Look to see who the 32nd ranked QB in the league is talentwise and you might get a better idea about relative talent.

Thanks for the thought out reply. I really don’t spend much time on where he sits in the ranking of QBs because whatever he is, it’s what we got. I lean towards hoping they strive for the best O and D line in the league. That will maximize whatever Dak’s potential is.

Your points are sound. We probably have differences on where we think his level is, but again, there what this forum is for and who cares.

I don't care all that much either, to be honest. If he falls from top 10 to the 11-15 range, whatever. He's the best we've got right now.

I'd LOVE to upgrade from Dak and have an elite QB, but that's easier said than done. I just can't stand the crybabies whining about how we need to toss him in the trash as if Mahomeses and Josh Allens grow on trees.

Look what the Browns gave up for Deshaun Watson and what they're paying him, and he played like a complete bum last year. A guy who all the Dak haters were 100% sure was MUCH better than Dak before last year.

There are teams who have cycled through QB after QB after QB and haven't found one as good as Dak in 20+ years.
