Bijan: If he's there you HAVE to take him

RB is a need for a few reasons so if Robinson is the best available player when the Cowboys are up I wouldn't have concerns turning in his card. Considering Pollard is coming off a knee injury and his potential future salaries, Robinson could be the reason we move off Pollard saving 7+ million a season for a few years. In return you could have an equally productive if not more productive runner while saving money for other players.

Throw out the notion of avoiding drafting a back in the first round if it's later in the round. Top half I can understand, but in the 20s you hope to still find an impact player and if it's an RB so be it.

If history is any indicator, there's a real chance he wont even be the best RB in the draft.

I mean its pretty safe to say your not giving him a second contract though, I just dont see burning 1st round picks on a 3 to 5 year position...
