this game is not fantasy football. I know many you want points. Fantasy football, who really cares. The NFC East is trench warfare. When Philadelphia and Washington are building up their defensive lines with top draft picks, we must counter with building up our offensive line with top draft picks. This division is about winning the battle in the trenches. Howie Roseman drafted Jordan Davis last year. We drafted Tyler Smith. Tit for tat. Our first round pick will be a mean ugly and you will like it.

The only stat that matters resides in the W/L column. I think most of the fans around here get that. Having a balanced, smart and disciplined football team will provide a solid foundation to success and coaching does matter. Many also recognize the value of building a team from the inside out.

All football is won in the trenches.

The first round pick next month will be an interior OL. Hate at me. Just saying. You want shiny new toys like Bijon Robinson, 180 lb WR's, no. It's in the trenches. You hate it but you eventually come to like it. Travis Frederick. Eat it.

At 26 that's where the logical value is...doubt anyone is going to hate...I'd rather it be an interior dl but this team doesn't value the dt position

We had one of the best if not the best OFFLINES in the NFL for years and what did we make of it?
ZERO......

Everything is bent on promoting offense and scoring points, and you have to score enough points to win. The Cowboys only gave up 19 points to San Francisco in the playoffs but only scored 12.

There arent any interior lineman worth that pick

And you have to stop the other team from scoring to win. It's both, just as it always is. There is no reason to make it about just one facet. Neither a great O nor a great D will win it all w/o being at least competent on the other side of the ball. KC's D was 11th last year.

In terms of strategic thinking, most here will say that the game is won in the trenches.
But many will have a lapse of memory when some shiny skill player flashes before their eyes.

I hope the draft is set for it, because our *needs* are definitely for the big uglies.
C or NT in the 1st is ideal.
I'm not a fan of a G in the first unless another Zack falls in our lap.

I have us at 3-3 in the division best case
But it's early
