Name me a realistic draft prospect who would have more of an impact than what Hyatt would bring to this team

This guy just abuses DBs. Consistently 5 yards behind the corner. To me it's an easy decision if Hyatt is there at 26.
 
Given the addition of Cooks and the fact MM wants to emphasize the ground game more, I suspect Hyatt would struggle to get more than 2 to 5 passes each game.

I can't belive I am saying this, but a feature RB or TE would have more impact.

Personally, I still think another OL, DT3 or LB would have a bigger impact on the W/L record
 
Absolutely love the long term impact he could bring. Someone you could bring along slowly with the addition of Cooks…
 
Any of the top interior offensive or defensive linemen, tight ends, or even off ball linebackers would have a greater impact just because they'd instantly be the best or second best options at their positions. Hyatt would be third at best, and that's assuming Gallup doesn't bounce back. I like Hyatt, but a fourth receiver just doesn't move the needle for me given where this team is at.
 
We could do a lot worse. MM did say we wanted to run the ball more didn't he. I wouldn't let having Cooks on a two year contract stop me from drafting him.

Carter is dropping more because of his weight and not being able to complete drills at HIS own pro day than the driving issue. This is interview time. Everything he has done and hasn’t done shows teams what he’s all about. Unless he finds a way to show he’s already conditioning himself, I wouldn’t draft him.
