Should the Dallas Cowboys trade up in the 1st round for RB Bijan Robinson if he's still available by the 15th spot pick?

I would not give up any draft capital for a RB even though he looks exceptional.

RB's do not lead their teams to the championship. They haven't in a very long time.

However, the way this owner is about promotional opportunities, I could see this happening. Lots of UT fans in the Metroplex.

After 5 years of Zeke nonsense, and what we've seen with Shaquon...I renounce anyone trying to seduce us with over-investing in running back.

If he's there for us at 26...I'll think about it. Otherwise: Get behind me Satan.
Lmao

You know you can throw the value chart away. Green Bay probably will be in position to draft a player they want at 15. The only way they would consider a trade down of 11 spots would be if the players they like are gone. But I will play your game. The Cowboys could probably get a back at 80% of Robinson’s ability at pick 90. I would rather have that and keep my other picks as well.
Fair enough.

Now come back to the light and support Dak.
:p

Dak Stan all day everyday  This draft is about Dak.I bet they draft a tight end, offensive guard, and running back to protect him and get him more weapons. Fans will complain but that is the smart thing to do when you have a franchise quarterback.

No way to trading up and at 26, they have a few needs that are outstanding. Pollard and a pick or whatever is going to do well. No need to go back to giving Jerry the "bell cow" madness of a single RB that they keep running into the ground and then wonder how it all went wrong idea.

What about when you don’t?
:muttley:

If RB Bijan Robinson falls out of the Top 10 spots in the 1st Round and is still available by the time the Green Bay Packers pick at spot #15, should the Dallas Cowboys trade their #26th (1st Round) overall pick, along with their #90th (3rd Round) overall pick, to the Packers in order to move up to #15 and draft Bijan Robinson (decade's type of RB who can play all 3 downs, plus pass protect and catch the football)? Even if Green Bay wanted 1 more extra pick, throw in next year's 3rd or 4th round pick.

Would you make the trade to pick up this generational type of RB?

What say you?

It would require pick #55 to move up from #26 to #15.

A following year pick is worth approximately 1 round lower than a current round pick.
- i.e. Next year's 3rd is worth this year's 4th.

It would be moronic to trade up for a RB.

I am not trading up to get Robinson when I can take the better back in Gibbs at 26 and still keep my picks.

Not only no but HELL no. Jalen Carter is prob the only player worth trading up for if he falls. TBH I think Gibbs ends up having a good of a career as robinson.
