He started 11 games in 1989 with garbage weapons (except for Moose) and a defense that was ranked 24 out of 28. We were rolling out 38 year old Too Tall that year. This forum has forgotten that the great almighty Aikman had the number one offense line and the number one defense and the best running back to date behind him. when he didn't have those luxuries, he lost!! Plain and simple. His fist year without those luxuries, he had a wopping 1 and 15 season!!!!! After the melt down, he lost as well, and we all blame Jerry for firing Jimmy. If the quarter back has that much to do with winning, why couldn't Aikman carry the team?
