Luke Musgrave at 26?

Starting to see this rumor pop up. I’m very high on this player. I thought we could get him in round 2.

I actually like him better than Mayer because of his upside although I admit Mayer is a more polished player today.

I actually have faith that the Cowboys no matter what they decide, will find a good player tonight!! The've drafted well 'for the most part'. But round 1 has really been very good. I'm not loving the Musgrave idea, but we'll see how things unfold and who is still on the board at 26.

I think Musgrave has the potential to be the best TE in this class..

I wonder how the league has him graded because it just doesn’t make sense that a terrible athlete like Mayer is this sure fire 1st rounder but Musgrave and Laporta weren’t when the reality is they’re nearly as good with more upside.

It was likely always going to be TE. The position is screaming start is needed. Unlike a couple of other positions, they did nothing to address it via free agency. I'm sticking with the previous prediction.........TE, RB or OL otherwise a trade-down wouldn't surprise me.

Not a great blocker. Good enough athlete for sure. Struggles with positioning and not dominant at contested catches.

Keep in mind all the pre draft mocks and fan stuff may not match up with what teams are thinking.

I felt like Laporta or Musgrave both had a chance just based on film. Mayers not significantly better and these guys to me have the upside.

I’m really hoping we take a TE with our first pick. I would prefer Kincaid but I’ll take any one of the top three. A chain mover and a playmaker. If we can improve on Dalton Schultz, who was a good player, it will end up being a very good pick.
