Go look at those games, whether it was the secondary, our RB, our offensive line, our QB, we got bullied.

Go get the biggest baddest TE in the draft. You have the resources and know-how to make this guy a great player. Then, you have your Bubba Franks for 5 years on a rookie deal.

You can grab Gibbs, but you already have Gibbs with Pollard. You tagged Pollard so you wouldn't be forced to draft a TE, not to mention he's good. But we need someone to protect our guys like Pollard, and Dak.

Zeke was always the best blocking back, because he had to pick up the slack when our offensive line wasn't cutting it, or the scheme was set up so he could block. If you draft a TE who can block, it really opens it up for any back, and gives you and advantage by having six guys who can block, and Washington can block, and, if given the opportunity, he can really kill you in the passing game. But go watch his blocking, and he's just such a solid player. And, not to sound cliche', but he adds a dimension you didn't have day 1.

If they don't draft, Washington, I suspect they'll draft Noah Gindorff for the same reasons.

You really do want a blocker at TE. We're missing the big, bad arse, bulldozer effect that can trump a George Kittle.

Having Washington as your TE is going to make any back you draft that much better.. which could help them have a better season than some of the top backs. It all starts up front.

Plus, he has potential to be a big time threat in the passing game, with Lunda Wells coaching him.

Pollard's injury is what doomed the 2022 season playoff loss...

Prime years Gronk was not going to make up for the loss of Pollard.

Keep mind my favorite player in this draft is TE Michael Mayer.

Rookies won’t change the outcome vs SF.
Depends on the position. At RB, TE, LB, DT, DE, they can.. if they are athletic enough. Our guy is athletic. I'm not going to hate on the pick because what I wanted didn't happen. I'm fine with it. I can respect another's opinion and admit they may know more than me and actually be right. So, not what I would have done or expected, but I like the pick and the player.

You are all over the place. Bipolar much?
I was trying to guess the pick based on what they may try to do, which is draft high RAS players to beat San Fran with.. That's what they did, just at the wrong position. I misread what they were signaling in the press conference, or misinterpreted, and don't mind admitting it.

Happens.

And, no, no bipolar.

I'm more amused by watching you flail around not knowing what you're saying.

Gibbs went way earlier, which is what I was thinking would happen. I'm good with the pick at DT, although I don't think MM likes it.

We got bullied by the 49ers in 2021. Pollard’s injury and Dak’s poor play did us in 2022.
I felt like the offense got bullied, and didn't score enough points. Pollard going down didn't help, nor did Dak, but if you can impose your will on a team with an extra lineman who can also catch passes, that gives you another dimension.

I think McCarthy wanted a TE, which is what we were seeing in the war room, and I don't expect he'll be around much after seeing how things are going and knowing Jerry. MM clearly not happy right now.

Well, if you don't want to be bullied, I guess go get a player who is tough to push around.

The playoff game was tied 9-9 in the third quarter. After that point:

The Niners ran 23 plays, gained 155 yards, scored 10 points, and burned 14 minutes off the clock. How? Mostly running the ball.

The offense has its issues, but the defense got trucked as well. Run defense needed improved. Mazi adresses that weakness.

Now get some help for the offense.

Folks seem to forget that they ran the ball at will and we couldn’t do a thing to stop them.

Dak processes like a 1984 computer. Draft a future pro bowler at guard or center. Make it easier fir him. He’ll need time to get deep to cooks. Plus he’s not quick. Romo was emotive but slow when it came to straight line speed. Dak has good speed but isn’t elusive. Improve the line.

Washington sucks.

Nice to see someone that understands football.

Get a left guard and a tight end who blocks better than dalton.

If he's there, which I don't know if he will be, I think the TE they nab could be Washington.

I guess we'll see.

If I'm wrong, well, then, oh nooos! I'm wrong...

We didn’t get bullied. We went toe to toe. The difference was our inept QB and he will continue to be the difference.

Ill be clapping the moment Washington goes ahead of us. Not a fan.

How could he be? Look at the situation. You've been coaching in the NFL for 30 years, 5 years in college before that, have generally been successful, but the guy making the call is an 80 year old fool who has made a mess of the biggest sports franchise on earth for nearly 30 years running, and he's sitting their flanked by his sons with his grandson looking over his shoulder.

No self-respecting coach or executive would be happy with that situation. It's an embarrassment to McCarthy, professionalism in general, and the Cowboys franchise.
