He is the father of bacon on the old DC.com when he simply posted I Like Bacon in the middle of a discussion not about breakfast meats.

That set the wheels in motion and The Gip spinning out of control. His love of bacon became legendary.

I think that Bacon thread was the longest ever on that site and evidence that the mods liked bacon more than rule enforcement.

Bacon may be the only subject we all agreed on.
