I do not ...... during the season Rockport and the fan fest call me a hater ...... and Mountainboy and the hate squad call me a homer.

You seem to be a pissed off child ....... and I could care less the reasons or your viewpoint.

So continue to be pissed off ....... or just piss off.
:p
Yeah because that is exactly what the Dallas Cowboys coaches said. It isn't something that was made up in here. Zrin didn't just pull something out of thin air.
Personally, I like Richards. I'm pretty much on board with what cnuball said. He's a solid prospect. Prob won't be the player he can be during his rookie year, like Tyler Smith was. But he doesn't have to be. When it all shakes out, I see him more as a guard, maybe RT.

As far as a swing player, I was most intrigued by Jaelyn Duncan, as a player who could play anywhere on the line in due time. Walter Football had him ranked towards the back of the 1st, early second, although there were definitely better players to be had there. I still think he can end up being a good player.

Based on Senior Bowl and UNC highlights only…..he looks like your typical guy that looks the part, but needs a year to get stronger.

May not be easy to stash him on the PS, so I look for the miraculous mid-round project tackle injury streak to continue.

This guy does not anchor well in these drills. I'd be surprised if he see the field this year.

Nah, just sick of guys like u who backs every pick like it's gold. the guy did 13 reps on the bench, thats what the weakest corners and wide outs do yet u think he's kicking inside to guard to deal with the big boys. lol!
Aww Somebodies diaper is full.
Stronger than Connor Williams...

He will make the roster. He's the best depth piece we have. Maybe even as a rookie.

You seem to greatly approve of Mazi and Asim, and don’t like Overshown.

What about the other draftees?
Overshown is a wild card. I won't pretend to know his future but he doesn't excite me at all. I get real leary of players the coordinator has a fetish for. We saw it during the Marinelli years with Trysten Hill and Joey Ivie. Quinn's the same guy who pushed for Nahshon Wright. Sam Williams too. Has he panned out? He looks okay but he's got a ways to go to be worth a 2nd round pick. Now it's Overshown. The super duper position-less Swiss army knife.

I'm not saying it can't be a good pick but I just can't have the blind faith it would require to allow me to support the pick right now.

What they'll never admit to now: If I ran a poll prior to the draft suggesting Schoonmaker in the 2nd and Overshown in the 3rd it would have been largely rejected by the people here. I remember posting the draft visit for Overshown and it was met with groans. Now they're all big fans of course.

I gave them a D+ for the players picked and a B- grade if you add in Cooks and Gilmore but in hindsight I'd probably make that more like a C+ since those two vets are short term players.

What can I say? Will McClay has rarely impressed me. This year was no different.

37 starts at LT, 1 at LG

I noticed him in the Senior Bowl 1-on-1s.
- Quick Feet. Long Arms. Big Hands.
- He held up to the power of Keanu Benton and Jerrod Clark.
- He did whiff on 1 rep vs Benton.

Asim Richards (Pro Day)
Height: 6042
Weight: 309
Hand: 10
Arm: 35-3/8 (34 at the combine)

13 on the bench press is A concern. I like him anyway
The 13 reps on the bench is more a sign of either a lack of work ethic, or a lack of emphasis in his conditioning on the bench press. Bench numbers are easy enough to get better at with emphasis on it. However, I would be a bit worried about his work ethic given a paltry number like that. 13 is a really poor number for a lineman. Hell, it's a poor number for a LB. When David Buehler outbenches you by double digits, it's not a positive.

he has arms like vines at guard and thats bad. He's holding in this drill at LG. That said, I think he has enuff skillset, that we can clean that stuff ^. We can turn him in 2 a steal. The kid has a tun of starts to back him ^.

I look forward to watching his camp. I think that he may turn out to be an ace up our sleeves like Jeremy Parnell. He probably won't have to start straight away, but I think he has the potential to step in for a period of time should Tyron go down (as Tyler Smith can move to LT if needed).

Interesting that you aren't impressed when they are one of the best drafting teams in the league. Of course they don't hit on every pick, but for every Wright there is a Bland as well.

I'd say there is a very good chance that their first 2 picks will be solid players and some of the others will be good as well. Of course some of them won't be, but if they hit on several of them, they should continue having good teams in the future.

I think he's upset because the FO didn't draft or sign Wentz

I have no interest in what cheerleaders have to say. It literally means nothing.

I think by the time camp in oxnard is done Richards will show much promise. Just a hunch. I've watched many of his game reps in college, and he was a starter for a reason. He is flawed but there is/was much to like. The best thing is his durability.
