Look at his year to year INT percentage.

In 2017 his INT percentage was 2.7

From 2018 to 2021 his INT's percentages dropped dramatically, to 1.5, 1.8, 1.8, and 1.7. in order of those years

Then, in 2022, his INT rate reverted back to 2017, even became worse.

Now, where have we seen this timeline before?

Those years and abrupt changes in INT percentage correspond exactly to when Amari Cooper both joined and then left the Dallas Cowboys

Career 1.7 before last year, and had only one season over 2.0.

Last season was a blip, anyone worth their salt knows that.
This ^^^^^ facts but the way he ended the season, left a nasty taste in most fans' mouths. Everyone knows, before last season, his ball security was a strength, not a weakness.

lets start the mental gymnastics!!! to slander Mr. Prescott
its not mental gymnastics, its 2 simple facts, the NFL has changed so many rules that all "all time" low int % passers will all be recent. And Daks int % in his rookie year was 0.9 and last year it was 3.8%
Thats not spin baby its reality

Brissett, Taylor, Kap, and Jones better than Dak.

No slander. Just the numbers, bro.

But when I bring up numbers on Dak's behalf, your weak *** say stats don't matter..... LOOOOOL!!!

So for the people.... let us know do numbers matter or not.

I’ll take that one on the chin.

Though I think if this team stayed exactly the same and had mahomes, burrow, rodgers, Allen, or Herbert we would have already made it to the Super Bowl. We are a legit qb away imo
you'd be guessing and Im betting wrong,

their respective teams aren't winning SBs outside of Mahomes and all 32 teams could likely say if we only had Mahomes.. lmao keep trying hard to downplay Dak but those payers have failed their own teams with TOS and not making enough plays..Allens IS a T/O machine dude, seriously what are watching? hes the top TO QB wince he was drafted. so somehow you think Allen with Noah brown as his #2 and our OL being bottom 10 in pass rush win rate meaning A lot more pressure with lack of run game in those playoffs loses, somehow turns those 3 qbs into sb champions Burrows threw 2 INts in his last playoff game, sound familiar?)? that joke right , you watch much football?? its team game. Dak played bad because of the line and lack of run game with lack of creativity from the OC. they didn't get it done, not HE , THEY...

so outside of Mahomes (how many of those come available in a generation matched with that coaching staff and GM? LOL) NO i don't think the QB failed us i believe the OL, run game, coaching and lack of making the biggest play in the biggest game by the TEAM has.

Lots of players in those game didn't make plays or made mistakes. You think those qbs is overcoming 14 penalties, 11 by the ol, or defense giving up 250 yards rushing with line once again with no run game, no push, and the last game no run game, no OL play, and one player in CD making plays?? Schultz mental gaffs, Diggs not making plays. Its team game..

first the chin , now the body shot, you out!!

Wait. We are excited about a passing stat list that shows him behind Tyrod Taylor, Kaepernick and Daniel Jones? just kidding

What worries me is last year was 3.8%. I have to assume that was around the worst of all NFL starters. Fields was 3.5%. Wentz was 3.3%. Marietta was 3.0%Can't find anyone else over 3%
2021 - 1.7% so even a little better
since 2016 - 2.2%.

They don't matter because it doesn't support your argument. Until it does, then it matters.

It's called goal posts on wheels. Always on the.move.

BTW, that sticker matters. You want to tell me you see one that says average gas milage 12 and another one in same car class that says average milage 27 and you don't care? Sorry I call bullshiet.
Calm down.

It's going to be ok.

No its cherry picking using, one OFF year vs a career which, a career says last year was an anomaly and outlier.. so yes, you are trying to use your one 1 yr Dats to downplay what's a top 10 career achievements, many top 5 stats against some of the best.

its odd or Ironic that a player like Stafford could be plucked off bad team onto a loaded all in team and still throw 17 INTs in 17 Games and throw more inthepayoffs and 2 intyhe SB , yet his TEAM got him a Ring without him havif to chage his game at all. thats a lot of INts for a QB no ones talking about because his team bailed him out.. Allen is one fo the TOP T/O QBS since he came into the legaue. ironic some here claim hes better then dak but his numbers say otherwise, its wash really.

there are other qbs that have had the same Team support who often turned it over like Farve and PManning. or worse qbs like flacco, foles, Dilfer, McMahon, Brad Johnson, Namath ,and others who won a sb on the back of their team despite their deficiency's.

ITs a team game; you win and lose as a team. No one CARRIES a team; that is fanboy garbage. Now its arguable some QBs can inspire a team; Roger was one of those.

Dan Marino rewrote every passing record when he played; but many only remember he did not get a ring. Anymore that is how QBs are remembered; unfairly or not.

Rookie season Dak was fantastic at 0.8% INT, next year not so good at 2.7.
Put together, it's still under 2%, which Dak continued up until last year.

There are a lot of breakdown videos of All Dak INTs for 2022. Often receivers just aren't crossing the face of the DBs. It's likely that the boom in INTs was at least partially due to WR option routes where the WR was largely responsible for the INT. But then again receivers *always* cause INTs, so that doesn't settle the question of whether Dak was particularly bad last year.

Trouble with the NFL is that it's not serious journalism, it's entertainment journalism. To really analyze the issue, you have to compare the receiver INT rate last year to the *base rate* league wide of receiver INT rate, or at least a Dak historical rate, and that's actual work to gather that data.

Seems like a good job for PFF, which reviews every play.

A list that has Jacoby Brissett No. 2 on it should probably be considered fairly worthless. I mean, Tyrod Taylor and Daniel Jones aren't exactly QBs that I want ours keeping company with, either. Seems like there is some statistical evidence that must not be being considered here.
that just td-int ratio, im betting you will find Daks total tds are far ahead of both of them etc.. this is just one measure not all , daks clearly better then those 3. hows this ratio, 165 tds to 141 INT? whats the formula but it has to be worse then 166-65 just saying. guess who that comp is.. just saying.. dak haters just stop. Romos is even better...

"Out of Romo, Aikman, and Staubach only Romo has a TD/INT ratio of 2:1. Tony Romo holds Career Cowboys records for the following: Games with 3-plus touchdown passes (24), games with 300-plus yards passing (32) and lowest career interception percentage (2.78 percent)." off google

Just goes to show that just numbers do not tell the whole story

as was mentioned several pretty sad QBs have a lower int % then Dak.

And of course there are a lot of HOF QBs that have a higher int% then Dak.

So taken by itself this stat has little meaning.
Yea Qbs with less passing attempts lmao.

wow, you skipped through all the usual scripts Dak Bashers use right into this....you must have read the cliff notes version of the scripts. get with your brothers, maybe reach out to pappy and he can send you the full script.

you think the Bills and chargers have bad teams?..cinci? thats a very odd take. Every QB (minus A-Rod last year) you named has a WR group you would've taken over the Cowboys WR last year unless you're being dishonest.
