There would be the comedic value of hundreds of threads and thousands of posts claiming that Wentz is better than Dak, but if we wanted a backup who sucks we might as well bring back DeNucci (which is plain English, means hell no to either one.)

For the comedy aspect of him being Dak's backup alone after people claiming he was better than Dak and comparing the two incessantly I'd take him. He can battle it out with Rush for #2. Only thing that would make it funnier would be if we cut him to go down to 2 QBs on cut down day and kept Rush. Will he sign for the vet minimum.

Not weighing in on Wentz but....

The team should always have 3 QB's on the roster.

1) QB #1
2) Seasoned Veteran
3) Developmental QB with actual credentials

The position is too important, and the playbook too difficult to learn, to go with only 2 QB's.
