Will Cooks have an impact that AJ Brown had for the Eagles?

I agree, but is it just the running game or his threat as a runner
I think it’s both and can’t be separated in this case. You are right really in that the rushing attack’s biggest threat is the qb but the rest seems effective too.

I don't think it's asking much, I'm not here to cause a war of fans and if I'm a true cowboys fan. I'm just asking a question. Brown had a huge impact for the Eagles, I want Cooks to triple what Brown did, anything is possible! Go Cowboys!! Please give your thoughts
NO

Can we have a day, where Cowboys fans climb off the iggle's lap?

Cooks is more like Devonta Smith to Lamb's A.J. Brown.

AJ Brown brought a tough, confident, swaggy attitude to the Eagles offense. I don't see Cooks having that type of effect on the culture of the Cowboys.

Also, it's just different because AJ is a WR1.

1500 yards and 11 TDs isn't asking for much?

Lol, okay.

You think it is possible for Cooks to TRIPLE what A.J. Brown did?

I'm not sure...but brown was an all pro who got in neighborhood of 1500 yds, maybe 85 catches...and what 8 TDs or so?

So you think Cooks can get 4,500 yds, 255 receptions and about 25 to 30 TDs?

Great post. Really makes sense.

As a follow up: hey guys, I want Dak Prescott to triple what Patrick Mahomes did last year (15,000 yds passing, 125 TDs, and 3 superbowl wins all in same year). Anything is possible!!! Golly gee!!!

No chance. Not only is Brown a better WR but the Eagles basically had no one doing anything for them to compete for touches. He made their QB and recent draft pick at WR better just by being there. Cooks has Lamb and Gallup to split catches with and has to deal with Dak at QB.
? He has Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert too...both of who were higher volume then our #2 and 3.

Devonta Smith was like in top 15 as WR and had like 90 catches and 1100 yds...and goedert is a top 5 TE. Brown has MORE competition for touches than Lamb. Brown will sulk though if he doesn't get 8 targets even in a blowout win...whereas Lamb is OK as long as team is winning

What impact did AJ Brown have on the Eagles? Last season they got whipped by the Cowboys one game and the other game they won because the Cowboys had to start their backup QB, not because of anything AJ Brown did. That was the difference in how the division panned out. So, pardon me OP if I don't agree with the premise of your question.

Cooks definitely should have a positive impact, but like Brown? No. Brown was one of the top 4-5 receivers in the NFL last year. Cooks isn't going to be that.

Not the same team so it's hard to have the same impact. When healthy the boys have more weapons than what philly had. If Gallup and pollard still struggle after their respective injuries then yes cooks can make a bigger impact but this will be Gallup's 2nd year post injury. He will make an impact but Dallas will have more weapons than what we thought philly had this time last year. No doubt cooks will help Dallas bring back the long ball that an injured Gallup wasn't able to do last year.

AJ Brown had almost 1500 yards last season with 11 TDs. He would’ve been our leading receiver last season. Cooks isn’t even going to sniff those numbers this season.
No he wouldn't have we wouldn't have used him right
