Tyler at Vonn Miller's Pass Rush Summit

Smith is going to be really, really good very soon.

He has elite physical traits, a very sharp mind and he is driven to be among the best.

That is a combination that rarely doesn’t end with great success.

Great player.
He has that so called "want to be great". Just a matter of time before he puts it all together!

Not a good look to get beat at camp and not be in gear.

Lazy and unmotivated.

When natural talent meets burning desire, the end result is usually success. I love this guy, with a healthy season I'm predicting his first pro bowl.

Were people wrong about him? Didn’t everyone here love the pick?
Aye....I don't knock people for not liking a guy as a prospect. He had the penalties.....ok. But the stuff people said....they said he should've been taken in the 2nd some even said 3rd round. Some said his ceiling is RT. It was just a lot of stuff said about him by people who didn't know him but just followed mock drafts.

Exactly

To be honest at first I didn't like the pick. Then I went online and watched his film and read his scouting reports and starting liking it more and more.

After his rookie season it's safe to say the Cowboys got it right. They hit it out of the park with Tyler.

I didn't throw a block party, mind you...but I was very interested from that start of Smith.

You have to love players who arent content with just cashing big fat checks, and want to be the best version of themselves. Kind of reminds of about a month ago when Micha talked Andrew Whitworth into coming down and giving him some pointers from the OL point of view.
