Well, I think it's possible to be positive about the team, but also know how to take the piss when it comes to your team. It's important to be able to laugh but also be supportive of the team. You know what I mean? I love this franchise, but I also don't mind poking fun at areas that need laughing at. Life's too short not to laugh, and this is entertainment.

I get it. But for me there’s just some that triggers me as a fan and the whole hasn’t won in 27 years just brings negative times and nothing funny lol. I’m just reminded of Troy Hambrick and Ryan Leaf lol.

I am used to it, I am a Hog. Watched them set the SEC record for consecutive conference losses over three years and I really didn't care if anyone was laughing, that's my team. For better or worse, in sickness and in health, what they accomplish has nothing to do with me being a fan.

Same with the Cowboys, laugh away, I could care less. Why would any fan care what others think about their choice of teams?

I know Browns fans, Texans fans and Jaguar fans and I never even thought about laughing at them. I admire them.

I respect any fan that sticks by their team and consider them a true fan.

It is obvious you are very uncomfortable in addressing the specific point, or answering the simple question and are trying to deflect.

I'll answer your question. Please read and answer the two simple questions I have for you which I will add to the end of this post.

Pappy came in hot, with a strong and unpopular opinion on Dak. He did, however, always provide something to back up his opinion. I don't consider that trolling BUT a whole bunch of folks immediately start hammering him, labeling a hater, a troll and an Eagles fan. I was actually impressed at how long he remained on the high road. Eventually though, directly in response to all the forum Karens who just can't stand to hear any criticism, he started responding in kind. So yes. Pappy does do some trolling. There are two things that are absolutely true though. He is no worse or better than the trolling you and others do, and you guys literally created Pappy the troll with your back trolling.

How many posters fit your definition of hater/troll?

At the end of the day no one here “bothers me”. I don’t even debate Pappy anymore because it became clear when a guy slings insults this is how they get off. You guys aren’t nearly as clever as you think. For instance let’s discuss you. You’re a passive troll. You’re not as trollish as Pappy because you’re not as visible. It’s funny though. You don’t see trolls unless they are pro Dak. On a Cowboys site…imagine having an issue with a pro Dak stance. And this is where the trolling ensues.

You’re not a visible troll. You don’t come out and say “Dak sucks” or “Cowboys sucks”. That’s not your MO. There are some miserable people here. Anyone who gets worked up over a stranger's opinion online is dealing with depression and/or anger issues. I've battled depression fro a long time, and I used to be one of those people. Luckily, my ex saved me, and made me go get on medication, which has made a WORLD of difference. There's a certain poster here, the one who quit coming for a few months because he couldn't handle differing opinions, that needs some serious help.

A big portion of the fanbase believes they are less of a fan if they don’t cheer on players, coaches, or an owner that hold the team back.

or they realise that crapping on entertainment YOU CHOSE TO BACK when you have no control over it is kinda "loose screw" thinking. contrary to what you believe no person working for the Dallas Cowboys right now is there or not there because of what any number of fans have done... even if you could get everyone to stop going to games, the Jones family aint selling the cash farm... probably just move it and make you even more upset.

I don't know about laughing but I have had a good chuckle here and there. The Dallas Cowboys roster aside from the QB are as good or better than the Bills, Bengals, Eagles, Chiefs. But the minute you insert Dak as the QB the team is now on par with the Vikings and Cardinals.
