A forgotten, but strangely fun losing season

Defense played their heart out but what stood out during those years and what we saw an improvement when Parcells arrived was increase in TDs when the team was inside the 20.

Quincy Carter couldn’t throw a spiral consistently.

That era, the one with Jerry’s fingerprints all over it, was easily the low point in franchise history.

Coach’s decline was sad. Jerry and his scotch buddies attempting to run an NFL team was more toward the pathetic side.

Quincy had a two-cent brain, but he did throw a nice ball with zip.

Loved Coakley. Glover, Woodson, Emmitt, Galloway, Ellis....

They were in games, but couldn't ever finish them. Then Parcells fixed it.
BWAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Quincy threw a nice ball"?

AHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!!

You mean the guy his own team mates dubbed............."AFLAC"

Worst era in Cowboys history as far as hopelessness. The combo of Jerry, Parcells, Quincy. No question about it.

He could hit a bong.

wasnt nothing fun about that year or any of the Campo years

I had to cam myself down during those years buy telling myself "the other team gets paid as well....they have families to feed so when they whip us its not personal"

To be fair, Troy threw a bunch of wobblers, too.

He calls this fun, and in the same breath will bash this team lol.

What’s wrong with you man?

Bill Parcells directed a Quincy Carter led football team to the playoffs.

He was a great coach.
He was horrible as a coach. Better at buying the groceries than he was coaching. Went out and got all his FOB's. His 3 yards and a cloud of dust scheme with a bus driver QB was outdated, boring, and pathetic.

His QB's were Quincy Carter, Bledslow, Testicleverde, all while a guy like Romo rotted on the bench for nearly 4 years. I hated Parcells.

When he made the initial decision to stick with Quincy the Bong Carter, it was all over any hope.

NFC East was probably as bad as it has EVER been that year and the defense was good. Only reason they made the playoffs.

Then he FINALLY plays Romo and has a great young QB and he quits? Good riddance.

Parcells was a joke here. Jerry handed him the keys and he blew it.
