In a thread that is over 24 hours? I would think so. Generally I think it good policy to read through threads before confronting someone about something as opposed to coming in half baked. That does double considering what you are criticizing me for.

Sorry I'm not taking extra time to make you not have to read my reply.. but thanks for playing. Again, follow the instructions so you don't get any of the negative feedback..

Yeah I know you wanted your pound of flesh but let's not pretend that this is about anything else.

Brock Marion was drafted by Jimmy in 1993.
Oops. Nice catch. I guess it's a good thing I picked Ratliff. I can omit the asterisk.

You know, I was also thinking that Jerry probably used the 1994 draft board created by Jimmy as well. After all, the guy that discovered Larry Allen was a scout brought in by Jimmy and, most likely, he would have also taken Larry Allen. However, I decided that would be a little to "nitpicky". Somebody still had to pull the trigger and it was Jerry, after all.

Good list PM. I would add some rounds since until the early 90s, there were at least 12 rounds. In fact, the greatest Cowboy ever drafted IMO was a 10th round pick named Roger Staubach.
Here’s an alternate list:
Round 1: Bob Lily (nothing against Ware but Lily was one of the greatest DL in NFL history)
Round 2: Larry Allen
Round 3: Jason Witten
Round 4: Dak Prescott
Round 5: Herschel Walker
Round 6: Nick Folk
Round 7: Bob Hayes- HOFer that changed the game with his speed and Rayfield Wright- HOF RT
Round 8: Kevin Gogan
Round 9: Kenny Gant
Round 10: Roger Staubach- HOFer- greatest Cowboy
Round 11: Jethro Pugh- played 13 years alonside Lily
Round 12: Larry Brown- SB 30 MVP
Then there is Larry Cole in the 16th round, Scott Laidlaw in the 14th round and Herbert Scott, Jean Fugett or Mark Washington in the 13th round.

This was around the time before the merger so there were two drafts. The Cowboys drafted many players that never played for them but had great careers in the AFL. They drafted HOF guard Billy Shaw in the 14th round in 1961.

A really good debate will be in 7-8 years from now when we discuss who was the better #1 pick: Ware, Martin or Parsons.

Fun fact, we also drafted Carl Lewis.
