Dak Prescott 56 on Top 100

That same list has Goff and Prescott ahead of Lamar Jackson so consider that
I mean. Jackson has the same issues as Dak in the post season and the only real threat he brings are his legs. He’s not exactly a great passer. That can be chalked up to not having much to work with at WR though. But then the argument of he needs help and shouldn’t be paid comes into play. Personally I take Dak over Jackson just based on passing. If jackson could pass like Dak he would be a top 3 QB. Factoring in the legs of course

I’ve always believed that QBs need a certain maturity to succeed, unless they have deity level talent.

Dak may not have the greatest talent, but he certainly has the right mental makeup.

I just don’t see that with LJ. Not yet at least.

Lamar has not been very good since he won the MVP. Some talking head show did a blind resume on Lamar’s passing since the MVP season and his stats were below average. Dak/Goff are better quarterbacks than Lamar but the Raven quarterback is a better athlete.

Dak statistically is light years better then Lamar in the postseason.Jackson has not been in the postseason in two years.

Like Mark Rypien to an extent Lamar Jackson had a golden year where pretty much everything went right and is probably going to be like Rypien and disappear in another year or two

Too low?
Too high?

Doesnt really matter.

This Top 100 is routinely a league-wide joke and popularity contest.
Most players do not participate in the voting and many of the ones that do don't take it seriously.

I mean, Mac Jones is 85th! How is he in the top 100?
Kurt Cousins...who has been virtually identical (or slightly better stats-wise) to Prescott for the last 5 years, is behind Mac Jones at 99

It's just so quirky
