We're probably the only team that can't run successful WR screens, hopefully this will change. With Turpin, Ceedee and even Duece/Pollard these guys should see a lot of screens their way

I'm really anxious to see the new offense against the Giants. Cowboys have the weapons to run so many different plays. They haven't been good at the screen in many years. That's always been something I never understood. Maybe with Kellen gone the will figure it out and at least be decent at it. I'm expecting a more diversified offense now and running an effective screens and draws to be a part of it is a big step in the right direction.

Ball needs to come out quickly and accurately for those screens to work, it's not just the guys catching and blocking. I still have nightmares when we threw the dang ball to the DE.

I've heard coaches say they don't run more screens because it takes so much dedicated time at practice to make sure the execution is right.

I like him. This is the first time I've ever heard an interview with him. Love his attitude and positivity. The philosophy makes sense. Someday he might be a Head Coach. He gives off that vibe. Gives me a Dan Quinn type genuine feel. He seems like a guy the players would play hard for. My main worry is short yardage. Can we get the tuff yards in the run with the backs we have?

Running a successful screen takes timing, execution, and patience.
Something we haven't had for a very long time.
