I expect Rush to be traded to the Chargers...and truth be told...he's probably the best of all 3.

No QB controversy. Dak is heads and shoulders better than Lance and it isn't even close. Lance has to really develop just to get to mediocre.

This is nothing but an insurance policy or trade bait down the road. With his contract Dak is going nowhere, and will be extended at some point. There is no way around things, so get used to him being QB1

I think he might have the best head for the game, but the worst body for it, mainly his throwing arm. Too bad we can't implant his brain into players with the physical skills. I mean, you combine him and Grier and you might have something ... unless you get Grier's brain and Rush's body.

That shouldn't taken (although it will) as a criticism of Dak, who has shown more mental acumen for the game than his critics will ever give him credit for.

I do think we could put off the extension until next year, but that may have been going to happen no matter what. Negotiations with Prescott proved to be difficult the last time and the Joneses really only seem to get deals done when they're on the clock.

Matt Moore as well, though we let him slip through our fingers.

The Cowboys managed to get a whole lotta QB with very little resource.

One of my hopes for McCarthy was that they would work a bit harder in trying to find and develop QBs on the cheap. Maybe they're starting now that McCarthy is OC.

And let me toss in some love for Rush. A legit backup QB who wins games for nothing. A great deal.

First, I see no way Kellen Moore enters into this equation in any way, shape, or form. KM is a non issue.

Second, the only person I see being put on notice here is Grier, not #4! Lance being dumped for practically nothing after the price that was originally paid to get him, I don't think he can even put Rush on notice. Not till he has adequately proven his value, and that's not going to happen overnight.

Third, The best of all 3??? Rush? I'm not a big fan of Dak, but neither do I hate the guy beyond all sense of reality. Rush is NOT the best of all 3. He's far and away better than Grier, and he's a good backup, but he's not better than Dak. It's not even close.

Kellen will be fine Floaty, it was a power struggle with MM and he lost. The Chargers are the perfect offense for his playbook. Strong arm quarterback with big vertical receivers.

I would agree. He is basically Jason Garrett at QB he can do somethings but if you make him play to his weakness long throws outside the hash he is a bad QB. Glad he is a back up because if your back up is playing significant snaps 7 out of 10 times your season is done.
