Edoga and Bass

It needs to be said that I was very wrong about Edoga. Had a nice game. Bass filled in fine too.

LG is easy to fill. The problem will be when we lose BOTH LT and LG. (Or maybe Center) Hopefully, doesn't happen. In a 'glutton for punishment' way, I would like to see Asim get more playing time, but I guess it won't happen unless the Smith boys AND Edoga go out.

Our OL depth "issues" are the biggest singular misnomer about this team all offseason/preseason.

All anyone had to do was watch how our backups played all preseason to know we were fine.

Having said that, Edoga surprised as all we heard was the media saying he looked bad and then was hurt.

When I saw that Tyler was out and that Tyron was questionable I was concerned. But they did a very nice job filling in as needed. Lets hope we don't have to relay on them for multiple game stretches during the season, but I now have some confidence they can at least do spot duty.

Well said.
Exactly.

The offense had a lot of help from the defense last night, NYG defense was already gassed by the second quarter and the momentum was solidly on Dallas's side. I'm hopeful that the media panning of our OL depth was overblown but cautious about reading too much into a win with that many extenuating circumstances.

the NYG front seven is thier strength, for sure its one game but its a greatv start against a solid front 7.

Edoga played well, and seriously doubted what he could contribute. Kudos to Edoga!

Now, when Tyler Smith gets back in the lineup it should be kinda rough on opposing front 7s.
