The NFC is off to a historic start

Speaking of NFC -AFC

Vikings are 0-2

Kirk Cousins is in last year of his contract. You really think Vikes want to break bank for him? No way. This is swan so g for Cousins.

I wouldn't be shocked if they lose 2 more....if the JETS try and trade for him. Is there a team more ready to win, only needing a CIMPETENT veteran Brad Johnson type QB than the Jets?

Get a 2nd now for Cousins.....or nothing later. Vikes aren't winning the SB this year anyway....

It really is fascinating as the AFC has been focused on paying or acquiring superstar QBs the last couple years, while the NFC teams have focused on building deeper teams with an emphasis on running the football and playing quality defense. It's been a while since the two conferences have felt like they are really playing two different brands of football as they are now.

Sucksfor Kirk. He's getting blame for their issues but he honestly played well enough to beat the Eagles. He was dicing them up.

I said it this offseason everyone kept talking about the QB names but the NFC had better teams. Eagles, Cowboys and 49ers are better actual teams than probably anyone in the AFC. Dolphins might change that when Ramsey gets back but they don't have actual teams built.

So much for the NFC being down this year .

This is a big issue I attempted to address in off season how much other teams may have been upgrading. Most of the talk is about what’s happening with the Cowboys. But what if other teams have upgraded as much or more.
Commanders, Saints, Buccaneers, and Falcons aren't good teams. Just watch them play and it's obvious.

I still think the NFC is down. Except they have 3 of the best teams in the league.

eagles and commanders could easily both be 0-2. commanders specifically we’re gettinge bullied by the hapless cardinals and blown out by the 0-2 Broncos. Credit to them for pulling out both wins but they haven’t looked impressive at all. neither have the saints. I can’t speak to the bucs because I honestly haven’t seen a single snap or highlight of them this year. but yeah, not buying stock in the nfc as a whole, it’s a three man race.

Great take . . . it will be interesting to watch what happens to Cousins. . .

Possibly the 3 best teams in NFL without the 3 best QB’s.

And if Lions over Chiefs is an indication the NFC could be even stronger and deeper.

7 undefeated teams in 1 conference after week 2 might be a record?

Two weeks is still too early to judge teams not getting off to a fast start. But we can hope they stay that way :)

I'd have to check on that undefeated part. But 7 does sound like a lot for 1 conference.
