Nobody will beat the Giants by 40 or shut them out. Nobody will beat the Jets by 20 or score 30 on them.

Yes. Both are 1-1. The Giants are at least the same team last year that made the playoffs and the Jets have one of the league's best defenses. The Giants won a game this week they were considered good enough to win and the Jets beat a team they were not expected to beat without Rodgers.

We will face better teams, but it isn't like these two were considered bad ones.

You know what I noticed. Fans of both the Giants and Jets as well as all the talking heads were basically in unison talking only about how bad their teams were. Dallas is getting hyped but all the usual detractors are telling us they played two bad teams. I haven't heard anyone put forth the notion that maybe the Giants and Jets aren't really that bad, its just that Dallas is soo good that they made them look that way. Both teams won when they weren't playing Dallas.

When you’re a top 3 team in the league this logic can be applied to almost every game you play. The people who love to be miserable have shifted the goalposts so far that now anything short of wins against Philadelphia or SF is insignificant in their minds.

I commented that to my son during the game. Micah showed the center exactly what he was going to do, then did it, beat him, and forced the bad play. Amazing player. Can’t wait to watch him play again and again.

And yet this is a 17 game season every game counts and we can only talk about the last game that was played and then the next game coming up that's it that's what we do here you you think this place should lock all new threads until after The Super bowl and then we could talk about how things went or are we gonna be allowed to talk about the good the bad and or the ugly that's happened from game to game that's what we're doing we have a right to brag by putting up a 70 to 10 point differential that's a 60 net point on the two teams we were supposed to be we were not supposed to beat them like that and by the way before the giants game 75% of the pickers picked the giants everyone's talking about the giants could be the surprise team in the NFC East and that either the Eagles or the Cowboys would slip people were expecting the giants to beat us had that workout?

Then everyone talked about how great The Jets defense was if they played a controlled game ran the football they should be able to have a shot at beating us and then it snowballed at the end even though some of what they talked about was true that defense played pretty good until they got wore out because of their bad offense but don't tell me that the expectations was to not just beat somebody but embarrass both themes that one beat Buffalo the week before and then the other one had a miraculous comeback in the second-half and beat the Cardinals they didn't have any miraculous second-half against us and The Jets didn't cause four turnovers on us can we stop the nonsense that we're not allowed to talk about things like this

we're not the Eagles the Eagles are also we're supposed to beat the two teams they were beat but they struggled and yet they seem to be happy they won those two games as well and they're not putting a silencer on talking about the game but yet they're talking about ours how we shouldn't be proud on who we beat when all of y'all 60 point differential more than double anybody else in the NFL and don't tell me there ain't anymore lopsided matchups in the first two games..

Now you get it they weren't just wins, they were statements.

I would say pencil me in as one of those fans also. Did the G-men go 6 qtrs. without scoring before the flood gates opened against a team vying for Caleb Williams? And those poor Jets were clearly not prepared for life without Rodgers. Impressive wins - yes and they shouldn't be diminished but I'll feel a little better after a win against the competitive Patriots and a proper showing against our nemesis, the 9er's.

There's still plenty of work to do here. I know TD's weren't needed against the Jets but that doesn't mean you stop trying to get them and be content with field goals. And, to this point no one's been persistent enough in testing the center of our D-Line. Thanks to our turnovers others have abandoned game plans thus far but the times coming when others aren't so generous.

Time will tell if Cowherd is right in comparing Dallas to Mike Tyson being an absolute bully against push-overs but having issues with polished opponents. Boy, I hope he's wrong on multiple fronts.
