Belichick says Cowboys strength is "everything" and compares Parsons to LT

Tom Brady left New England at the end of the 2019 season. So Belicheat has been without him just over 3 seasons. The Patriots have played 155 games during that time?

Bill went 36-44 with the Browns, so 80 games at 0.450 win%

Bill coached 320 games with the Patriots with Brady/during the Brady era(such as the 2008 season where Cassel started most of the year)
Won 237 of those games, lost 83 games.
Brady played 283 regular season games with New England. * games he started.
Won 219 games in NE, and lost 64 games.

Those 37 games without Brady, during his run there NE went 18-19.

So, I'm assuming that's where the OP got his numbers from.

80 with the Browns, 37 with the Pats(Brady era) and 50 games in the Jones era.

So, could be off by a few numbers, and didn't use 2023 season numbers but it's crazy to see how many games Bill has coached in the NFL.

Bill has never said anything bad about another team. Heck, he probably said Garrett was a good coach. :muttley:

Bill Belichick is the single most overrated coach in all of sport.

He has coached 155 games without Tom Brady at QB winning 75 & losing 80 for a winning percentage of .484

155 Games is a pretty substantial sample size and without Brady, Belichick .484 winning percentage is not among the top 150 coaches All-Time.

Tom Brady is the GOAT but, Belichick is nothing more than a coattail rider.
I think a little respect is in order. He hit on a HOF qb and rode the "coattail" to she SB what 7 times?

This is BB M.O.

Every time I can remember playing his teams the game is preceeded by flattery.

LMAO, I’ve seen it all now, BB is a Bum. I’ve never seen a more ignorant statement about football.

Belichick was the head coach for Cleveland from '91-'95 and coached has coached the Patriots for 84 games without Brady and has a losing record.

Tom Landry, Don Shula, Chuck Knoll, Joe Gibbs, Andy Reid, Jim Harbaugh and many others have won with several different QB's so explain the Great Belichick's inability to do likewise?

All successful teams need a good QB to win, especially in this era. But Belichick is one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.
No he is not. He has done nothing without Brady and he had to cheat to win with him.

As opposed to what coach who won championships with multiple rag-tag quarterbacks?

I'll give you one. Bill Parcells. Won everywhere he went.

But who else?
Joe Gibbs won 3 Super Bowls with 3 different QB's. Tom Landry went to 12 NFL/NFC Championship games and 8 Super Bowls with 4 different QBs. Don Shula went to 7 Super Bowls with 4 dIfferent QBs. Bill Cower went to 2 Super Bowls with 2 different QB's. Andy Reid went to 4 Super Bowls with 2 different QBs.

So, explain why the Great Belichick can't even muster a winning record?

You mean before free agency?

Considering the quality of QB in those 155 games, what would the expected win % be?

I'd bet well below .484.
He had Kosar who led Cleveland to 3 AFC Championship games and Vinny Testaverde in Cleveland. He also had Drew Bledsoe in NE and still managed a losing record with them at the helm.

Take a minute and check out an NFL history book and you will find dozens of coaches that have won more with less than Belichick.

Well this is a dumb post. How many SB trophies did Tom Landry win without a HoF QB?

A coach is only as good as the talent on the field. That’s why the Cowboys were hot garbage during the mid and late 80s even though they had one of the best coaches of all time on the sideline.
Dumb Post? Okay, let me school you. I didn't say that Belichick hadn't won another Super Bowl. I said he can't even manage a winning record.

By the way Tom Landry won 2 Super Bowls, 5 Conference Titles, 12 NFL/NFC Championship appearances with 4 different QBs and had 20 consecutive winning seasons with 5 different starting QBs.

Joe Gibbs, Don Shula, Weeb Ewbanks, Dick Vermeil, Bill Cower, Andy Reid, etc. Have been to multiple Super Bowls with different QB's.

Before you call an opinion dumb, do a little research. You might learn something.

Another mental midget that doesn't know NFL history. Belichick coached the Browns from '91 to '95.

I'm shocked at the lack of NFL knowledge on this site.

You’re talking apples and oranges and different eras, but BB is considered by everyone with a brain as the greatest HC ever. I guess Brady did everything from drafting players designing Defenses and offense’s and deciding who to keep and cut. Stop just stop. You’re a funny guy.

Bill just buttering us up with some dramatic comparisons. He’ll have our players heads swimming in accolades.
