Jake Ferguson is the 2 run-blocking TE

Lol i said this. Its why i said the schoon pick was so dumb.
You've complained over half the picks for the last four to five drafts...you saying he is too dumb to learn how to be a good player?

Never said he was a dumb player. Schoon bummer is older than ferg and not as good lol. We want an older player to develop into the player the younger player is........

Make it make sense

Half the picks have been bad.

Isn't this why we were so high on Schoonmaker?

It was because he had exceptional athleticism and was also a good blocker. Him and Ferguson can both make an impact. Schoon should be a better weapon in the passing game.

Schultz was the 4th/5th graded blocking TE in the entire NFL last season. The narrative that he "can't block" is factually incorrect. His pass catching statistics speak for themselves.

No clue where they pulled those grades from but he had a lot of whiffs. I remember because they ended a few drives. It's not a narrative, he want backwards as a blocker in Dallas.

Ferguson is a great run blocker but he’s a complete non factor down the field in the passing game. Best suited for TE2.

We should be lining up in heavy TE packages, this OL is trying desperately to sort it out at the moment.

Sorry guys but so far the only good TE we had plays in Houston. Not impressed with none of them thus far

huh, go figure. I've only been saying this since the minute Dalton left. Ferg is going to be a really good all around TE. That's the reason I was wondering why we passed on the OG for Schoonmaker. Nothing against Schoon, I like him and think he too has a chance to be a very good all around TE. But it just seemed like a knee jerk reaction to hearing all the hype saying that we needed to draft a new TE since we lost Shultz.
They passed on the OG because he wasn't a fit for outside zone. Had OG Matthew Bergeron lasted to that pick, he would have been drafted.

That was schultz

Thats right his 600 yards over his entire college career proves he going to be a great pass catcher lol

Na homey, we are talking about combine tools. He has them, and that's why he got drafted.

Thats right he won the underwear olympics without showing any of that ability on tape lol

It was a bad pick

There's a huge hole where Schultz used to be. Specifically scoring in the red zone.
I do think we will miss Schultz in the passing game a little, but a lot of what he did here was opportunity over ability. Schultz has 17 TDs in 78 career games and was a crappy in line blocker, so I'm not sure his red zone ability was all that much better
