SF is loading the box to stop the run but Dak is not competent enough to take advantage of that. He missed Cooks who was wide open for a walk-in touchdown.

Neither of them made sense to me.
Cooks didn't turn his route upfield.
Dak didn't throw it upfield.

On the bright side, the play was there.
And Dak did hit him in stride.

It was a bad throw but that pass was under duress and I don't know what route Cooks was suppose to run but he was running towards the sideline.

The route wasn't the problem, he was open across the middle, Dak was getting pressured but he had time to complete it, he just made a bad throw... you don't get many of those opportunities in a game... those are the difference makers.
