You don’t just get your hands around something, what you’re trying to accomplish in the first part of the season. We have to build. We have to learn from tough experiences like we went though last night. But I think this group will only get better.”

That is in most cases fair. A brand new offense typically takes a couple seasons to master. However, MM has been here for several years and I can't imagine it's been an absolute transition. If we haven't been gradually building then our coaches are worthless. I dont think that's the case and I don't believe anyone is overwhelmed with all the new information being introduced.

Brock purdy grasped an offense pretty quickly and did so as the last pick of a draft in his rookie year. You either have it going on between the ears or you don’t

I'm telling you, next year I get my 9 plays at QB in pre season. Why does Jerry care if I do? Heck, make some money promoting the spectacle of it all. How bad will I be? How bad will I get hurt?
