Stephen Jones on 1053thefan on how well Dak has grasped McCarthy’s offense

Did Stephen jones also say “they gotta get to work”

I love that. Son of a billionaire talking about “gotta get to work”.

How about you stop running our favorite team into the ground as a hobby?

Why not play golf everyday and bang high end escorts like normal rich people do? And get the hell out of our lives.

Had the yahoo’s allowed Mike to install it when he was hired it would be humming now….

I always wonder listening to Jerry or Stephan what they actually believe. Do they really think this is the year a Superbowl will finally come, or do they simply use other barometers to gage success ?

I can see them in a room after a horrendous loss and say "Yea, we really suck on the field but....Stephan, what were our ratings, Oh, ummm, they were good, no worries then, charge $5 more for a beer at the stadium and all these dummies out there will keep coming. We really are the best."

Huh what? You need to grasp it or you don't, a work in progress? Dude is clueless just like pops

I wish they would stop interviewing these two clowns. They are just going to try and put a positive spin on everything.

It's not a new system. Some things are different. But most of the personnel are the same. Dak is not a young QB. He should have the ability to learn a completely new system in one off-season (even though this isn't a new system).

It's the same thing we have seen from this team for nearly a decade. They struggle mightily against good defenses and pad their stats against bad teams.

Look at the Texans. Rookie QB, rookie coach and new staff. Stroud is 5th in the league in passing and yet to throw an int. So I hate it when people use a new system as an excuse.

Good grief. I have been watching this team since 1977 and don't think I have ever felt more hopeless than I do today about this team and the chances of them winning anytime soon.
You’re living in the moment because in the late 80s, we had back to back seasons with the worst record in the entire league. The team went 1-15 after an ownership, coaching and QB change. That was the most hopeless I ever felt.

That ladies and gentlemen is the root cause of all problems with this organization. .

Sometimes things take 30 years.

8 years and this QB can't grasp a dumbed down scheme concocted to cover up his own dificencies.

I get his position. This team built hope during the off-season and first two games. Coming off back to back 12 win seasons and with a defense that looked ready to step into the role of dominant.

Then we end up here again, failing miserably to measure up to the conference elite.

Looking at what we've built and seeing no answers on where to start is a hopeless feeling.

At least in the 80s we bottomed out and could build up. How does that happen now? First we'd have to make an actual effort to rebuild. Then we'd have to commit to it.

Dak has been a work in progress his entire f'ing career

That what's you call "trying to sell tickets to the zoo when the elephant and monkey exhibits are closed. "

Can Mike dumb it down some more, asking for the fans?
He tried to on the last two drives back to back slant first option rb in flat second option both plays picked and pulled the cord on Dak who was really looking forward to pad his stats so he could ask for 62 mill instead of 55

Like I said, Stephen isn't entertaining as Jerry. Just dull and boring. Nobody's believing this. He better hope the Cowboys don't collapse after this loss. This team isn't going anywhere with an offense like this.
Exactly, now viewers will be looking for quit in these players. The hope has to be that the bottom doesn't fall out. The best coaching job will be this week if they can rally these guys to beat the Chargers.

Stephen probably not feeling good cause Jerry's saying "I told ya, that's why I traded for Lance" all day.
