The position was one of the weakest in the league. Now it's even worse.

If the offense doesn't get it in gear this season will go down the drain pretty quick.

The defense has been embarrassed in 2 games so far. I expect it will continue going forward. We saw it the last quarter of last year as well.

what sucks is looks like our secondary is not up to the hype at all and is just terrible. Micah at lb will help against the run but does it matter if they can pass all over us.
Our pass rush is basically gone without Micah

It would have been nice to have Devin Harper, but the Cowboys cut him to make room on the roster and someone picked him up. They have Malik Jefferson. He got some playing time at the end of the SF game and I saw him in the pile on a few plays. But his inexperience is going to result in a few big plays.

The question is, what if Clark or Jefferson gets hurt? Then there is no one.

The solution is easy you trade Micah for the maximum number of picks you can get. Before his value tanks

The trickle down effect is going to occur... now if Micah moves to off line LBer we won't have as good pass rush... Now teams can take advantage of a Diggs-less secondary. Defense is gonna take a huge hit IMO going forward.

Wouldn't mind seeing Micah spend some time there particularly if the match-up from the DE position is not favorable. It would allow him to move in space (which we know he can move) without immediate hands on him and perhaps he can make some plays from that level. That would get Fowler and Williams on the field more often and Dante has pushed the pocket and Sam could just get more playing time. Hopefully Quinn can get creative.

I did here chatter from one of the Cowboys shows and the group was talking about the transition for Micah to LB on a more permanent basis being more difficult for him than what us viewers believe. Sounds like something Broaddus would say, but I don't think it was him.

Hate to break it to ya, but our passrush has been virtually non-existant against teams not from New York.

• 10 sacks in 2 games vs New York teams.
• 5 sacks in 3 games vs Non-New York Teams.

And in two of those last 3 games, the Defense has been flat out bullied. Not surprising to be bullied by SF, but they got bullied by Arizona too.

Then on top of that, playing Micah as a passrusher has been one of the biggest issues in our run defense because he is either running himself out of the play looking for a sack or getting bullied by blockers, be it OLine or TE/FB.

So if you can't stop the run, it won't matter if you can't stop the pass.

Ya, it is not pretty at all.
