LVE sucks. If he's the determining factor of our defense being solid, then the Cowboys are in a lot of trouble.

LVE should have never been a Mike. He’d be a great Will. The Cowboys weakness for as long as I can remember has been the Mike. They always go for someone athletic who would rather chase than fire and fill. They need a plugger even if he’s a 2 down guy.

Sam Williams is playing out of position and is a LB. Not saying he’s a MLB but he is absolutely a LB. The Cowboys are misusing him. Need to take advantage of his speed and use him side line to sideline and let him rush on 3rd downs.

Yeah, but you don't screw up the pass rush to cover for another position. This has always been the philosophy on the OL where we could have, many times, moved Zack to either tackle position and he'd have handled it.

we never really built true depth behind Diggs. They are decent but a liability. We are thin in several areas. This is roster mismanagement 101, a how to.

I hate 2 admit it and it may change, its early...but Mazi Smith has been invisible. When Big Hank is our best dude inside, we have issues. I like Hank, glad we have him, but the guy needs help. Will the real Dak please stand up? Where is rookie Dak? The guy that was razor accurate in 2016? How can a guy regress so much? Did he just lose it? The guy was neck and neck with A. Rodgers that year.

Where is rookie Dak?

1. He was a 4th round pick, and the third string quarterback. No team scouted him or made any plans to defend a Dak-led team. So when he became the starter, teams had no idea what he could do, his tendencies, his running ability, and so forth. Now, after 7 years, they do. They made adjustments, Dak has not.
2. He had an NFL rushing champion on his team. You have a running back who has nearly 2,000 yds of offense, over 1,600 yards rushing at a 5.1 average, and your quarterback can play it safe and doesn't have to win games with his arm. Zeke is gone, Pollard is a pale imitation of the 2016-18 Zeke as the main running back.
3. Age and injuries have taken their toll. You snap your ankle like Dak did and it's not long before your running ability begins to decline.
4. He doesn't have the team around him he had in 2016, that team had the 5th ranked defense. This defense seems good, but we just saw they can't handle a top offense.

2016 Dak still wouldn't be good enough to win the SB with this team....

fair enuff and I agree. Because the entire team has been soft, mismanaged again and again. They are dumb, get flags etc..way 2 much. The fighting Jerrys are a team of softies the last 27 years. Toothless Tigers and clowns. Until they prove differently. The more Micah and Jerry talk, the more they affirm how clownish they are.
