Dak's a part of the problem but Jerry's the bigger one. The culture of the Cowboys is the real reason this team hasn't had as much success as it should. We'll be debating the next qb as well. It just goes on and on.

You could win with ME under perfect circumstances, but perfect circumstances never exist.
Sure they do. Jared Goff, Nick Foles, Jimmy Garoppolo, all got to super bowls in recent history. But I understand how unlikely it is to happen.

Where is this "unbelievable support" the past eight years that Cowherd speaks of?

In 2016 Dak took the league by surprise. He had his expected year two slump in 2017 since defenses had film on him. In 2018 the offense realized Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson weren't it at receiver so they traded for Amari and Dak won his first playoff game. In 2019 the Cowboys went 8-8 thanks to Jason Garrett's brilliant (sarcasm) coaching and mediocre defense.

In 2020 Dak missed most of the year but the Mike Nolan defense was so bad he wouldn't have made a difference anyway. In 2021 and 2022 the Cowboys won 12 games each year and lost one score games to the 49ers in the divisional round.

So we are really only looking at year three of Dak having a strong enough supporting cast and a top five defense to see if he can get it done. Let's see what happens.

Tell us something we don't already know and that you don't keep spewing out, over and over and over again. Have some self respect and find another team. Why put yourself through all the hate and allow yourself to become the troll that you have become? Glutton for punishment? Gluttony is one of the deadly sins. Get out while you can.....PLEASE!

Practically everything he said about Dak he could’ve said about Tony Romo. They both have one more playoff win than some of the QBs he mentioned. He failed to mention Dak took over a team that went 4-12 the previous season. When the Cowboys finally move on from Dak at least we won’t be hearing from the OP anymore. He’s a one trick pony.

It is a star on the helmet issue.

Tom Brady went to the Bucs because he knew Cowboys roster wasn't good enough. In fact, he never even considered the Cowboys. If the Cowboys were a Super Bowl kinda team held back by the Quarterback..... it would've attracted better coaches, and QBs. Fact is..... nobody better than McCarthy and Dak wants the job.

He's full of ish. They all are.
They've been called out and now muddying the argument to make it seem as if we're saying Dak deserves NO criticism.
Nah. That's not the debate at all. Stay focused.

Lamar Jackson throws 9 INTS in practice....not a word from media heads. Dak throws 2..........UH OH!
Speaking of Lamar, I don't remember extensive segments in 2021 when he had 13 INTS. I don't remember it being mentioned the next season ad nauseam during every game he played in. I just don't.

How about Deshaun Watson? Outside of the obvious, nobody gave him the dressing that Dak gets for not being successful.

What playoff and Super Bowl success did those guys have? And both of them are 1ST ROUND PICKS. In a sane world, they're supposed to be constantly criticized for making teams use 1st rounders on them, but never living up to the hype. But no, let's fixate on the guy that plays for Dallas instead.

Yeah. The guy drafted in the 4th round that LUCKED into the job when TWO QBs got injured. The guy who's played above the expectations of someone drafted when they were.

I'm not a Dak fan like that, but I know bias when I see it. They can lie and say it's about lack of success, but use your eyes and you can see that's a lie.

Hating on the star equals views and clicks. Period.

I agree with Cowherd here .

What is never accounted for however is the pressure when so many are vested in your success OR failure.

You have to want the smoke, you have to embrace the hate. You have to. If you don't you will not win in Dallas.

You literally need a QB that advocates for himself and the team, and is 100% about winning 100% of the time. You need one that seeks MORE hate and feeds off it.... an Aaron Rodgers type.

That's the personality type/ QB Dallas needs.
The post 90's Cowboys basically need a complete "heel" of a QB. One that grabs cameras after hitting his head on the goal post and tells the world: "we d g a f, we are done failing and we are coming for everyone "

Dirty little secret for attune Cowboys fans:

Romo & Dak are basically the same player, it just looks different on TV, with varying highlights and failures.
