I always was a little skeptical of the hype with Lawrence that he was going to be better than Luck right away. Of course the mess that team was his first year really cost him.
But I don't know; he just does not seem to make me believe he can be a All Pro Elite QB. Might be my prejudice over all the pre draft hype but somehow...

It's okay to go ahead and admit you don't like Lawrence because he looks like Spiccoli! I keep wanting him to start a postgame interview with "That's my skull!!" LOL!

Seriously, I've never bought into the Lawrence hype either. He went to a college program that had played for the Natty like 2 of the last 3 seasons before he got there. And if I'm not mistaken he never got them back there.. He's a big athletic kid with a great arm.. But tall athletic kids with great arms can be had in the draft every year. What makes a QB a great QB is what's between his ears. Not just in terms of intelligence but also mentality. Competitive fire, decision making, toughness, ability to inspire and lead his teammates and yes command of the offense/reading of the defense, all those things are what makes a QB great. I'm not sure I've seen all of those in Lawrence yet. But he's only in year three (or is it four) so there's time. One thing's for sure he's got a good coach to work with now.

All four of the Golden boys went down to defeat this week.

How wild would it be if two of these four miss the playoffs? Yet some so called Cowboys fans had them selling the farm to get one of them. I don't know WHAT the hell is up with Josh Allen though.. Those turnover numbers are just weird.
