News: TS: Fox Announces Insane Ratings For Cowboys-Eagles Game

Dallas has been in a decades long NFC championship/Super Bowl appearance drought but this is further indisputable evidence of Cowboys' nationwide appeal. Arguments can always be made annually of the franchise's teams being irreverent as far as living up as postseason contenders. That is true. Saying the franchise itself is irreverent in the minds of Cowboys and non-Cowboys fans alike is not true.

Generally, people either love or hate the franchise. Both are opposites of the same coin, who end up watching Dallas games together in large numbers.
 
This is why it makes more sense for the league to prop up less popular franchises to reach CG's and SB's over the Cowboys. There is more gold in them there hills to be mined.

The Cowboys are always going to draw if they are remotely in the mix. League is already getting that Cowboys' gold.

Who said people were tuning in to watch the Cowboys versus the much more consistently good Eagles?

you mean CHaz Terrance Steele Green? sure that happened..No run game no consistent blocking 2 secs to throw ..and the the Chaz zebras.. and the Chazes championship d, that defense wants a name moniker, its called Overrated...Print the Ts now

yup all the above lost this game..the qb did not lose this game and did far and away enough to win. too bad he had little help the last 3 weeks and counting.

It's also a great counter to people saying if the NFL is rigged the Cowboys would be in the SB every year...this shows that 10 Cowboy games a year get SB views. The SB is the one game they don't need the Cowboys for those numbers.

Yep. It is more profitable for the league & Vegas to have Dallas lose these games.
